SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3674Narrated Anas: On the day of the battle of Uhud; the people ran away; leaving the Prophet ﷺ ; but Abu Talha was shielding the Prophet ﷺ with his shield in front of him. Abu Talha was a strong; experienced archer who used to keep his arrow bow strong and well stretched. On that day he broke two or three arrow bows. If any man passed by carrying a quiver full of arrows; the Prophet ﷺ would say to him; Empty it in front of Abu Talha. When the Prophet ﷺ stated looking at the enemy by raising his head; Abu Talha said; O Allah Prophet! Let my parents be sacrificed for your sake! Please dont raise your head and make it visible; lest an arrow of the enemy should hit you. Let my neck and chest be wounded instead of yours. On that day I saw Aisha; the daughter of Abu Bakr and Um Sulaim both lifting their dresses up so that I was able to see the ornaments of their legs; and they were carrying the water skins of their arms to pour the water into the mouths of the thirsty people and then go back and fill them and come to pour the water into the mouths of the people again. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5981Narrated Abu Humaid AlSaidi: We took part in the holy battle of Tabuk in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and when we arrived at the Wadi AlQura; there was a woman in her garden. The Prophet ﷺ asked his companions to estimate the amount of the fruits in the garden; and Allah Messenger ﷺ estimated it at ten Awsuq One Wasaq = 60 Sas and 1 Sa= 3 kg. approximately. The Prophet ﷺ said to that lady; Check what your garden will yield. When we reached Tabuk; the Prophet ﷺ said; There will be a strong wind tonight and so no one should stand and whoever has a camel; should fasten it. So we fastened our camels. A strong wind blew at night and a man stood up and he was blown away to a mountain called Taiy; The King of Aila sent a white mule and a sheet for wearing to the Prophet ﷺ as a present; and wrote to the Prophet ﷺ that his people would stay in their place and will pay Jizya taxation. 1 When the Prophet ﷺ reached Wadi AlQura he asked that woman how much her garden had yielded. She said; Ten Awsuq; and that was what Allah Messenger ﷺ had estimated. Then the Prophet ﷺ said; I want to reach Medina quickly; and whoever among you wants to accompany me; should hurry up. The sub-narrator Ibn Bakkar said something which meant: When the Prophet ﷺ saw Medina he said; This is Taba. And when he saw the mountain of Uhud; he said; This mountain loves us and we love it. Shall I tell you of the best amongst the Ansar? They replied in the affirmative. He said; The family of Bani n-Najjar; and then the family of Bani Saida or Bani AlHarith Bin AlKhazraj. The above-mentioned are the best but there is goodness in all the families of Ansar. The Chapter on Almadinah And Gardens in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Estimating the datefruits on the palms for Zakat in Sahih AlBukhari

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26443Narrated Hamnah daughter of Jahsh: Hamnah said my menstruation was great in quantity and severe. So I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a decision and told him. I found him in the house of my sister; Zaynab; daughter of Jahsh. I said: Messenger of Allah; I am a woman who menstruates in great quantity and it is severe; so what do you think about it? It has prevented me from praying and fasting. He said: I suggest that you should use cotton; for it absorbs the blood. She replied: It is too copious for that. He said: Then take a cloth. She replied: It is too copious for that; for my blood keeps flowing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I shall give you two commands; whichever of them you follow; that will be sufficient for you without the other; but you know best whether you are strong enough to follow both of them. He added: This is a stroke of the Devil; so observe your menses for six or seven days; Allah alone knows which it should be; then wash. And when you see that you are purified and quite clean; pray during twenty-three or twenty-four days and nights and fast; for that will be enough for you; and do so every month; just as women menstruate and are purified at the time of their menstruation and their purification. But if you are strong enough to delay the noon Zuhr prayer and advance the afternoon Asr prayer; to wash; and then combine the noon and the afternoon prayer; to delay the sunset prayer and advance the night prayer; to wash; and then combine the two prayers; do so: and to wash at dawn; do so: and fast if you are able to do so if possible. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Of the two commands this is more to my liking.1Abu Dawud said: Amr Bin Thabit narrated from Ibn Aqil: Hamnah said: Of the two commands this is the one which is more to my liking.2 In this version these words were not quoted as the statement of the Prophet ﷺ ; it gives it as a statement of Hamnah.Abu Dawud said: Amr Bin Thabit was a Rafidi. MuwataMalik-017-001-34657Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said Ibn AlMusayab from Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; A strong person is not the person who throws his adversaries to the ground. A strong person is the person who contains himself when he is angry. The Chapter on Wishes And Forgiveness in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Purity in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-34977Malik related to me that he heard that Urwa Ibn AlZubair and Sulayman Ibn Yasar when asked whether the sons of a man; who had a kitaba written for himself and his children and then died; worked for the kitaba of their father or were slaves; said; They work for the kitaba of their father and they have no reduction at all for the death of their father. Malik said; If they are small and unable to work; one does not wait for them to grow up and they are slaves of their father master unless the mukatab has left what will pay their instalments for them until they can work. If there is enough to pay for them in what he has left; that is paid for on their behalf and they are left in their condition until they can work; and then if they pay; they are free. If they cannot do it; they are slaves. Malik spoke about a mukatab who died and left property which was not enough to pay his kitaba; and he also left a child with him in his kitaba and an umm walad; and the umm walad wanted to work for them. He said; The money is paid to her if she is trustworthy with it and strong enough to work. If she is not strong enough to work and not trustworthy with property; she is not given any of it and she and the children of the mukatab revert to being slaves of the master of the mukatab. Malik said; If people are written together in one kitaba and there is no kinship between them; and some of them are incapable and others work until they are all set free; those who worked can claim from those who were unable; the portion of what they paid for them because some of them assumed the responsibility for others. The Chapter on Slave As A Property in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Good Character in Muwata Malik
