Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.

SahihMuslim-017-001-18658It is narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa: We were sitting in the company of Umar and he said: Who amongst you has heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ talking about the turmoil? Some people said: It is we who heard it. Upon this be remarked: Perhaps by turmoil you presume the unrest of man in regard to his household or neighbour; they replied: Yes. He Umar observed: Such an unrest would be done away with by prayer; fasting and charity. But who amongst you has heard from the Apostle ﷺ describing that turmoil which would come like the wave of the ocean. Hudhaifa said: The people hushed into silence; I replied: It is I. He Umar said: Ye; well; your father was also very pious. Hudhaifa said: I heard the Messenger of Allah may peace be; upon him observing: Temptations will be presented to men hearts as reed mat is woven stick by stick and any heart which is impregnated by them will have a black mark put into it; but any heart which rejects them will have a white mark put in it. The result is that there will become two types of hearts: one white like a white stone which will not be harmed by any turmoil or temptation; so long as the heavens and the earth endure; and the other black and dust-coloured like a vessel which is upset; not recognizing what is good or rejecting what is abominable; but being impregnated with passion. Hudhaifa said: I narrated to him Umar : There is between you and that turmoil a closed door; but there is every likelihood of its being broken. Umar said: Would it be broken? You have; been rendered fatherless. Had it been opened; it would have been perhaps closed also. I said: No; it would be broken; and I narrated to him: Verily that door implies a person who would be killed or die. There is no mistake in this hadith. Abu Khalid narrated: I said to Sad; O Abu Malik; what do you mean by the term Aswad Murbadda? He replied: High degree of whiteness in blackness. I said: What is meant by Alkoozu Mujakhiyan? He replied: A vessel turned upside down. The Chapter on Entertainment In Basic Instinct in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 65 in Sahih Muslim

They the hearers said: Apostle of Allah; would you recognize us? He replied: Yea; you would have a mark which other people will not have. You would come to me with a white blaze on your foreheads and white marks on your feet because of the traces of ablution. A group among you would be prevented from coming to me; and they would not meet me; and I would say: O my Lord; they are my companions. In Muwata Malik

Hadith PageArabic TextEnglish TranslationBook and Chapter
MuwataMalik-017-001-35119Malik said there was no harm if a man who sold some drapery and excluded some garments by their markings; stipulated that he chose the marked ones from that. If he did not stipulate that he would choose from them when he made the exclusion; I think that he is partner in the number of drapery goods which were purchased from him. That is because two garments can be alike in marking and be greatly different in price. Malik said; The way of doing things among us is that there is no harm in partnership; transferring responsibility to an agent; and revocation when dealing with food and other things; whether or not possession was taken; when the transaction is with cash; and there is no profit; loss; or deferment of price in it. If profit or loss or deferment of price from one of the two enters any of these transactions; it becomes sale which is made halal by what makes sale halal; and made haram by what makes sale haram; and it is not partnership; transferring responsibility to an agent; or revocation. Malik spoke about some one who bought drapery goods or slaves; and the sale was concluded; then a man asked him to be his partner and he agreed and the new partner paid the whole price to the seller and then something happened to the goods which removed them from their possession. Malik said; The new partner takes the price from the original partner and the original partner demands from the seller the whole price unless the original partner stipulated on the new partner during the sale and before the transaction with the seller was completed that the seller was responsible to him. If the transaction has ended and the seller has gone; the pre-condition of the original partner is void; and he has the responsibility. Malik spoke about a man who asked another man to buy certain goods to share between them; and he wanted the other man to pay for him and he would sell the goods for the other man. Malik said; That is not good. When he says; Pay for me and I will sell it for you; it becomes a loan which he makes to him in order that he sell it for him and if those goods are destroyed; or pass; the man who paid the price will demand from his partner what he put in for him. This is part of the advance which brings in profit. Malik said; If a man buys goods; and they are settled for him; and then a man says to him; Share half of these goods with me; and I will sell them all for you; that is halal; there is no harm in it. The explanation of that is that this is a new sale and he sells him half of the goods provided that he sells the whole lot.The Chapter on Financial Transaction And Partnership in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Blood Money in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35786Yahya related to me from Malik; from Yahya Ibn Said; from Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim Ibn AlHarith AlTaymi; that Rabia Ibn Abdullah Ibn AlHudayr once saw a man in a state of ihram in Iraq. So he asked people about him and they said; He has given directions for his sacrificial animal to be garlanded; and it is for that reason that he has put on ihram. Rabia said; I then met Abdullah Ibn AlZubair and so I mentioned this to him and he said; By the Lord of the Kaba; an innovation. Malik was asked about some one who set out with his own sacrificial animal and marked it and garlanded it at Dh AlHulayfa; but did not go into ihram until he had reached AlJuhfa;and hesaid; I do not like that; and whoever does so has not acted properly. He should only garland his sacrificial animal; or mark it; when he goes into ihram; unless it is someone who does not intend to do hajj; in which case he sends it off and stays with his family. Malik was asked if somone who was not in ihram could set out with a sacrificial animal; and he said; Yes. There is no harm in that. He was also asked to comment on the different views people had about what became haram for some one who garlanded a sacrificial animal but did not intend to do either hajj or umra; and he said; What we go by as far as this is concerned is what Aisha; umm Almuminin said; The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; sent his sacrificial animal off and did not go there himself; and there was nothing that Allah had made halal for him that was haram for him until the animal had been sacrificed. The Chapter on Almadinah And Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hajj in Muwata Malik
