But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence, - yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-296		Narrated Ali: We were accompanying a funeral procession in Baqi-I-Gharqad. The Prophet ﷺ came to us and sat and we sat around him. He had a small stick in his hand then he bent his head and started scraping the ground with it. He then said; There is none among you; and not a created soul; but has place either in Paradise or in Hell assigned for him and it is also determined for him whether he will be among the blessed or wretched. A man said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Should we not depend on what has been written for us and leave the deeds as whoever amongst us is blessed will do the deeds of a blessed person and whoever amongst us will be wretched; will do the deeds of a wretched person? The Prophet said; The good deeds are made easy for the blessed; and bad deeds are made easy for the wretched. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7260		Narrated Ali: While we were in a funeral procession in Baqi AlGharqad; Allah Messenger ﷺ came and sat down; and we sat around him. For whoever among us is destined to be fortunate in the Hereafter ; will join the fortunate peoples and whoever among us is destined to be miserable will do such deeds as are characteristic of the people who are destined to misery. The Prophet ﷺ said; Those who are destined to be happy in the Hereafter will find it easy and pleasant to do the deeds characteristic of those destined to happiness; while those who are to be among the miserable in the Hereafter ; will find it easy to do the deeds characteristic of those destined to misery. Then he recited: As for him who gives in charity and keeps his duty to Allah and believes in the Best reward from Allah; We will make smooth for him the path of ease. SahihMuslim-017-001-19426		Ali reported: We were in a funeral in the graveyard of Gharqad when Allah Messenger ﷺ came to us and we sat around him. He had a stick with him. He lowered his head and began to scratch the earth with his stick; and then said: There is not one amongst you whom a seat in Paradise or Hell has not been allotted and about whom it has not been written down whether he would be an evil person or a blessed person. A person said: Allah Messenger; should we not then depend upon our destiny and abandon our deeds? Thereupon he said: Acts of everyone will be facilitated in that which has been created for him so that whoever belongs to the company of the blessed will have good works made easier for him and whoever belongs to the unfortunate ones will have evil acts made easier for him. He then recited this verse from the Quran : Then; who gives to the needy and guards against evil and accepts the excellent the truth of Islam and the path of righteousness it prescribes ; We shall make easy for him the easy end and who is miserly and considers himself above need; We shall make easy for him the difficult end xcii. 5-10. SahihMuslim-017-001-19517		Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world; Allah would alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for one who is hard-pressed; Allah would make things easy for him in the Hereafter; and he who conceals the faults of a Muslim; Allah would conceal his faults in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother; and he who treads the path in search of knowledge; Allah would make that path easy; leading to Paradise for him and those persons who assemble in the house among the houses of Allah Masjids and recite the Book of Allah and they learn and teach the Quran among themselves there would descend upon them tranquility and mercy would cover them and the angels would surround them and Allah mentions them in the presence of those near Him; and he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds; his high lineage does not make him go ahead. SahihMuslim-017-001-23963		Ubay Bin Kaab reported: I was in the Masjid when a man entered and prayed and recited the Qurin in a style to which I objected. Then another man entered the Masjid and recited in a style different from that of his companion. When we had finished the prayer; we all went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said to him: This man recited in a style to which I objected; and the other entered and recited in a style different from that of his companion. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked them to recite and so they recited; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ expressed approval of their affairs their modes of recitation. and there occurred In my mind a sort of denial which did not occur even during the Days of Ignorance. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw how I was affected by a wrong idea ; he struck my chest; whereupon I broke into sweating and felt as though I were looking at Allah with fear. He the Holy Prophet said to me: Ubay. a message was sent to me to recite the Quran in one dialect; and I replied: Make things easy for my people. It was conveyed to me for the second time that it should be recited in two dialects. I again replied to him: Make affairs easy for my people. It was again conveyed to me for the third time to recite in seven dialects And I was further told : You have got a seeking for every reply that I sent you; which you should seek from Me. I said: O Allah! forgive my people; forgive my people; and I have deferred the third one for the day on which the entire creation will turn to me; including even Ibrahim ﷺ for intercession. And no people sit in a Masjid reciting Allah Book; studying it among themselves; except that tranquility descends upon them and they are enveloped in the mercy; and surrounded by the angels. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27008		Narrated Abdullah Ibn Amr: The Prophet ﷺ said: There are two qualities or characteristics which will not be returned by any Muslim without his entering Paradise. While they are easy; those who act upon them are few. One should say: Glory be to Allah ten times after every prayer; Praise be to Allah ten times and Allah is Most Great ten times. That is a hundred and fifty on the tongue; but one thousand and five hundred on the scale. When he goes to bed; he should say: Allah is Most Great thirty-four times; Praise be to Allah thirty-three times; and Glory be to Allah thirty-three times; for that is a hundred on the tongue and a thousand on the scale. He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting them on his hand. The people asked: Messenger of Allah! How is it that while they are easy; those who act upon them are few? He replied: The Devil comes to one of you when he goes to bed and he makes him sleep; before he utters them; and he comes to him while he is engaged in prayer and calls a need to his mind before he utters them. Then a man came to him and said; Amir Almuminin; the sun has come out; and Umar said; That an easy matter. It was our deduction ijtihad. Malik said; According to what we think; and Allah knows best; what he was referring to when he said; That an easy matter was making up the fast; and how slight the effort involved was and how easy it was.
