When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter, - then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Then the angels said; Interpret this example to him so that he may understand it. Some of them said; He is sleeping. The others said; His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake. And then they said; The houses stands for Paradise and the call maker is Muhammad; and whoever obeys Muhammad; obeys Allah; and whoever disobeys Muhammad; disobeys Allah. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10042Narrated Aisha: that a man came and sat in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have two slaves who lie to me; deceive me; and disobey me; and I scold them and hit them. So what is my case because of them? He said: The extent to which they betrayed you; disobeyed you and lied to you will be measured against how much you punish them. If your punishing them is equal to their sins; then the two will be the same; nothing for you and nothing against you. If your punishing them is above their sin; some of your rewards will be taken from you and given to them. So the man left; and began weeping and crying aloud. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You should read what Allah said in His Book: And We shall set up the Balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection; then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything... to the rest of the Ayah 21:47. So the man said: By Allah; O Messenger of Allah! I see nothing better for myself; than me parting with them. SunanAlNasai-017-001-14643It was narrated that Sabrah Bin Abi Fakih said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: the Shaitan sits in the paths of the son of Adam. He sits waiting for him; in the path to Islam; and he says: Will you accept Islam; and leave your religion; and the religion of your forefathers? But he disobeys him and accepts Islam. Then he sits waiting for him; on the path to emigration; and he says: Will you emigrate and leave behind your land and sky? The one who emigrates is like a horse tethered to a peg. But he disobeys him and emigrates. Then he sits; waiting for him; on the path to Jihad; and he says: Will you fight in Jihad when it will cost you your life and your wealth? You will fight and be killed; and your wife will remarry; and your wealth will be divided. But he disobeys him and fights in Jihad. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever does that; then he had a right from Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; that He will admit him to paradise. Whoever is killed; he has a right from Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; that He will admit him to Paradise. Whoever vows to disobey Allah; let him not disobey Him. Yahya said that he had heard Malik say; The meaning of the statement of the Prophet; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; Whoever vows to disobey Allah; let him not disobey Him is that for instance a man who vows that; if he speaks to such-and-such a person; he will walk to Syria; Egypt; or any other such things which are not considered as ibada; is not under any obligation by any of that; even if he did speak to the man or did break whatever it was he swore; because Allah does not demand obedience in such things.
