But Allah ordered the sea to collect what was in it of his ashes and similarly ordered the earth to collect what was in it of his ashes. Then Allah said to the recreated man ; Why did you do so? The man replied; For being afraid of You; and You know it very well. So Allah forgave him. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1637		Narrated Anas Bin Malik: Allah Messenger ﷺ used to visit Um Haram bint Milhan she was the wife of Ubada Bin AlSamit. One day the Prophet ﷺ visited her and she provided him with food and started looking for lice in his head. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ slept and afterwards woke up smiling. Um Haram asked; What makes you smile; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He said; Some of my followers were presented before me in my dream as fighters in Allah Cause; sailing in the middle of the seas like kings on the thrones or like kings sitting on their thrones. The narrator Ishaq is not sure as to which expression was correct. Um Haram added; I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah; to make me one of them; So Allah Messenger ﷺ invoked Allah for her and then laid his head down and slept. Then he woke up smiling again. Um Haram added : I said; What makes you smile; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He said; Some people of my followers were presented before me in a dream as fighters in Allah Cause. He said the same as he had said before. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah to make me from them. He said; You are among the first ones. Then Um Haram sailed over the sea during the Caliphate of Muawiya Bin Abu Sufyan; and she fell down from her riding animal after coming ashore; and died. He invoked Allah for her and then lay his head and slept again and then woke up smiling. I asked; What makes you laugh; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He said; Some people of my followers were displayed before me as warriors fighting for Allah Cause and sailing over this sea; kings on the thrones; or said; like kings on the thrones. I Um Haram said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah that He may make me one of them. He said; You will be amongst the first ones. It is said that Um Haram sailed over the sea at the time of Muawiya; and on coming out of the sea; she fell down from her riding animal and died. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2552		Narrated Anas: The Prophet ﷺ was the best among the people both in shape and character and was the most generous of them; and was the bravest of them. Once; during the night; the people of Medina got afraid of a sound. So the people went towards that sound; but the Prophet ﷺ having gone to that sound before them; met them while he was saying; Dont be afraid; dont be afraid. At that time he was riding a horse belonging to Abu Talha and it was naked without a saddle; and he was carrying a sword slung at his neck. The Prophet ﷺ said; I found it the horse like a sea; or; it is the sea indeed. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4196		Narrated Saeed Bin Jubair: I said to Ibn Abbas; Nauf AlBukah claims that Moses; the companion of AlKhadir was not Moses the prophet of the children of Israel; but some other Moses. Ibn Abbas said; Allah enemy i.e. Nauf has told a lie. Ubai Bin Kaab told us that the Prophet ﷺ said; Once Moses stood up and addressed Bani Israel. He was asked who was the most learned man amongst the people. He said; I. Allah admonished him as he did not attribute absolute knowledge to Him Allah. So; Allah said to him; Yes; at the junction of the two seas there is a Slave of Mine who is more learned than you. Moses said; O my Lord! How can I meet him? Allah said; Take a fish and put it in a large basket and you will find him at the place where you will lose the fish. Moses took a fish and put it in a basket and proceeded along with his servant boy; Yusha Bin Noon; till they reached the rock where they laid their heads i.e. lay down. Moses slept; and the fish; moving out of the basket; fell into the sea. It took its way into the sea straight as in a tunnel. Allah stopped the flow of water over the fish and it became like an arch the Prophet ﷺ pointed out this arch with his hands. They travelled the rest of the night; and the next day Moses said to his boy servant ; Give us our food; for indeed; we have suffered much fatigue in this journey of ours. Moses did not feel tired till he crossed that place which Allah had ordered him to seek after. His boy servant said to him; Do you know that when we were sitting near that rock; I forgot the fish; and none but Satan caused me to forget to tell you about it; and it took its course into the sea in an amazing way?. So there was a path for the fish and that astonished them. Moses said; That was what we were seeking after. So; both of them retraced their footsteps till they reached the rock. There they saw a man Lying covered with a garment. Moses greeted him and he replied saying; How do people greet each other in your land? Moses said; I am Moses. The man asked; Moses of Bani Israel? Moses said; Yes; I have come to you so that you may teach me from those things which Allah has taught you. He said; O Moses! I have some of the Knowledge of Allah which Allah has taught me; and which you do not know; while you have some of the Knowledge of Allah which Allah has taught you and which I do not know. Moses asked; May I follow you? He said; But you will not be able to remain patient with me for how can you be patient about things which you will not be able to understand? Moses said; You will find me; if Allah so will; truly patient; and I will not disobey you in aught. So; both of them set out walking along the sea-shore; a boat passed by them and they asked the crew of the boat to take them on board. The crew recognized AlKhadir and so they took them on board without fare. When they were on board the boat; a sparrow came and stood on the edge of the boat and dipped its beak once or twice into the sea. AlKhadir said to Moses; O Moses! My knowledge and your knowledge have not decreased Allah Knowledge except as much as this sparrow has decreased the water of the sea with its beak. Then suddenly AlKhadir took an adze and plucked a plank; and Moses did not notice it till he had plucked a plank with the adze. Moses said to him; What have you done? They took us on board charging us nothing; yet you I have intentionally made a hole in their boat so as to drown its passengers. Verily; you have done a dreadful thing. AlKhadir replied; Did I not tell you that you would not be able to remain patient with me? Moses replied; Do not blame me for what I have forgotten; and do not be hard upon me for my fault. So the first excuse of Moses was that he had forgotten. When they had left the sea; they passed by a boy playing with other boys. AlKhadir took hold of the boys head and plucked it with his hand like this. Sufyan; the sub narrator pointed with his fingertips as if he was plucking some fruit. Moses said to him; Have you killed an innocent person who has not killed any person? You have really done a horrible thing. AlKhadir said; Did I not tell you that you could not remain patient with me? Moses said If I ask you about anything after this; dont accompany me. You have received an excuse from me. Then both of them went on till they came to some people of a village; and they asked its inhabitant for wood but they refused to entertain them as guests. Then they saw therein a wall which was just going to collapse and AlKhadir repaired it just by touching it with his hands. Sufyan; the sub-narrator; pointed with his hands; illustrating how AlKhadir passed his hands over the wall upwards. Moses said; These are the people whom we have called on; but they neither gave us food; nor entertained us as guests; yet you have repaired their wall. If you had wished; you could have taken wages for it. AlKhadir said; This is the parting between you and me; and I shall tell you the explanation of those things on which you could not remain patient. The Prophet ﷺ added; We wished that Moses could have remained patient by virtue of which Allah might have told us more about their story. Sufyan the sub-narrator said that the Prophet ﷺ said; May Allah bestow His Mercy on Moses! If he had remained patient; we would have been told further about their case. Allah Messenger ﷺ ; once visited her and she provided him with food and started looking for lice in his head. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ slept; and afterwards woke up smiling. Umm Haram asked; What causes you to smile; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He said. Some of my followers who in a dream were presented before me as fighters in Allah cause on board a ship amidst this sea caused me to smile; they were as kings on the thrones or like kings on the thrones. Ishaq; a sub-narrator is not sure as to which expression the Prophet ﷺ used. Umm Haram said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah that he makes me one of them. Allah Messenger ﷺ invoked Allah for her and slept again and woke up smiling. Once again Umm Haram asked; What makes you smile; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He replied; Some of my followers were presented to me as fighters in Allah Cause; repeating the same dream. Umm Haram said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah that He makes me one of them. He said; You are amongst the first ones. It happened that she sailed on the sea during the Caliphate of Muawiya Bin Abi Sufyan; and after she disembarked; she fell down from her riding animal and died. What makes you smile? He replied; I dreamt that some people amongst my followers were sailing on the green sea in Allah Cause; resembling kings on thrones. She said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah to make me one of them. He said; O Allah! Let her be one of them. Then he slept again and woke up and smiled. She asked him the same question and he gave the same reply. She said; Invoke Allah to make me one of them. He replied; You will be amongst the first group of them; you will not be amongst the last. Later on she married Ubada Bin AlSamit and then she sailed on the sea with bint Qaraza; Muawiya wife for Jihad. On her return; she mounted her riding animal; which threw her down breaking her neck; and she died on falling down. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4992		Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said; An Israeli man asked another Israeli to lend him one thousand Dinars. The second man required witnesses. The former replied; Allah is sufficient as a witness. The second said; I want a surety. The former replied; Allah is sufficient as a surety. The second said; You are right; and lent him the money for a certain period. The debtor went across the sea. When he finished his job; he searched for a conveyance so that he might reach in time for the repayment of the debt; but he could not find any. So; he took a piece of wood and made a hole in it; inserted in it one thousand Dinars and a letter to the lender and then closed i.e. sealed the hole tightly. He took the piece of wood to the sea and said. O Allah! You know well that I took a loan of one thousand Dinars from so-and-so. He demanded a surety from me but I told him that Allah Guarantee was sufficient and he accepted Your guarantee. He then asked for a witness and I told him that Allah was sufficient as a Witness; and he accepted You as a Witness. No doubt; I tried hard to find a conveyance so that I could pay his money but could not find; so I hand over this money to You. Saying that; he threw the piece of wood into the sea till it went out far into it; and then he went away. Meanwhile he started searching for a conveyance in order to reach the creditor country. One day the lender came out of his house to see whether a ship had arrived bringing his money; and all of a sudden he saw the piece of wood in which his money had been deposited. He took it home to use for fire. When he sawed it; he found his money and the letter inside it. Shortly after that; the debtor came bringing one thousand Dinars to him and said; By Allah; I had been trying hard to get a boat so that I could bring you your money; but failed to get one before the one I have come by. The lender asked; Have you sent something to me? The debtor replied; I have told you I could not get a boat other than the one I have come by. The lender said; Allah has delivered on your behalf the money you sent in the piece of wood. So; you may keep your one thousand Dinars and depart guided on the right path. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6690		Narrated Wahab Bin Kaisan: Jabir Bin Abdullah said; Allah Messenger ﷺ sent troops to the sea coast and appointed Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah as their commander; and they were 300 men. We set out; and we had covered some distance on the way; when our journey food ran short. So Abu Ubaida ordered that all the food present with the troops be collected; and it was collected. Our journey food was dates; and Abu Ubaida kept on giving us our daily ration from it little by little piecemeal till it decreased to such an extent that we did not receive except a date each. I asked Jabir ; How could one date benefit you? He said; We came to know its value when even that finished. Jabir added; Then we reached the sea coast where we found a fish like a small mountain. The people i.e. troops ate of it for 18 nights i.e. days. Then Abu Ubaida ordered that two of its ribs be fixed on the ground in the form of an arch and that a camel be ridden and passed under them. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7039		Narrated Saeed Bin Jubair: I said to Ibn Abbas; Nauf AlBikali claims that Moses; the companion of AlKhadir was not the Moses of the children of Israel Ibn Abbas said; The enemy of Allah Nauf told a lie. Narrated Ubai Bin Kaab that he heard Allah Messenger ﷺ saying; Moses got up to deliver a speech before the children of Israel and he was asked; Who is the most learned person among the people? Moses replied; I am the most learned. Allah admonished him for he did not ascribe knowledge to Allah alone. So Allah revealed to him: At the junction of the two seas there is a slave of Ours who is more learned than you. Moses asked; O my Lord; how can I meet him? Allah said; Take a fish and put it in a basket and set out ; and where you; will lose the fish; you will find him. So Moses took a fish and put it in a basket and set out; along with his boy-servant Yusha Bin Noon; till they reached a rock on which they both lay their heads and slept. The fish moved vigorously in the basket and got out of it and fell into the sea and there it took its way through the sea straight as in a tunnel. 18.61 Allah stopped the current of water on both sides of the way created by the fish; and so that way was like a tunnel. When Moses got up; his companion forgot to tell him about the fish; and so they carried on their journey during the rest of the day and the whole night. The next morning Moses asked his boy-servant Bring us our early meal; no doubt; we have suffered much fatigue in this journey of ours. 18.62 Moses did not get tired till he had passed the place which Allah had ordered him to seek after. His boy-servant then said to him; Do you remember when we be-took ourselves to the rock I indeed forgot the fish; none but Satan made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a marvelous way. 18.63 There was a tunnel for the fish and for Moses and his boy-servant there was astonishment. Moses said; That is what we have been seeking. So they went back retracing their footsteps. 18.64 They both returned; retracing their steps till they reached the rock. Behold ! There they found a man covered with a garment. Moses greeted him. AlKhadir said astonishingly. Is there such a greeting in your land? Moses said; I am Moses. He said; Are you the Moses of the children of Israel? Moses said; I have come to you so that you may teach me of what you have been taught. AlKhadir said; You will not be able to have patience with me. 18.66 O Moses! I have some of Allah knowledge which He has bestowed upon me but you do not know it; and you too; have some of Allah knowledge which He has bestowed upon you; but I do not know it. Moses said; Allah willing; you will find me patient; and I will not disobey you in anything. 18.6 AlKhadir said to him. If you then follow me; do not ask me about anything until I myself speak to you concerning it. 18.70 ; After that both of them proceeded along the sea coast; till a boat passed by and they requested the crew to let them go on board. The crew recognized AlKhadir and allowed them to get on board free of charge. When they got on board suddenly Moses saw that AlKhadir had pulled out one of the planks of the boat with an adze. Moses said to him. These people gave us a free lift; yet you have scuttled their boat so as to drown its people! Truly; you have done a dreadful thing. 18.71 AlKhadir said; Didnt I say that you can have no patience with me ? 18.72 Moses said; Call me not to account for what I forgot and be not hard upon me for my affair with you. 18.73 Allah Messenger ﷺ said; The first excuse given by Moses; was that he had forgotten. Then a sparrow came and sat over the edge of the boat and dipped its beak once in the sea. AlKhadir said to Moses; My knowledge and your knowledge; compared to Allah knowledge is like what this sparrow has taken out of the sea. Then they both got out of the boat; and while they were walking on the sea shore; AlKhadir saw a boy playing with other boys. AlKhadir got hold of the head of that boy and pulled it out with his hands and killed him. Moses said; Have you killed an innocent soul who has killed nobody! Truly; you have done an illegal thing. 18.74 He said; Didnt I tell you that you can have no patience with me? 18.75 The sub narrator said; the second blame was stronger than the first one. Moses said; If I ask you about anything after this; keep me not in your company; you have received an excuse from me. 18.76 Then they both proceeded until they came to the inhabitants of a town. They asked them food but they refused to entertain them. In that town they found there a wall on the point of falling down. 18.77 AlKhadir set it up straight with his own hands. Moses said; These are people to whom we came; but they neither fed us nor received us as guests. If you had wished; you could surely have exacted some recompense for it. AlKhadir said; This is the parting between me and you..that is the interpretation of those things over which you were unable to hold patience. 18.78-82 Allah Messenger ﷺ said; We wished that Moses could have been more patient so that Allah might have described to us more about their story. Narrated Said: While we were at the house of Ibn Abbas; Ibn Abbas said; Ask me any question I said; O Abu Abbas! May Allah let me be sacrificed for you ! There is a man at Kufa who is a storyteller called Nauf; who claims that he AlKhadir companion is not Moses of Bani Israel. As for Amr; he said to me; Ibn Abbas said; Nauf the enemy of Allah told a lie. But Yala said to me; Ibn Abbas said; Ubai Bin Kaab said; Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Once Moses; Allah Messenger ﷺ ; preached to the people till their eyes shed tears and their hearts became tender; whereupon he finished his sermon. Then a man came to Moses and asked; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Is there anyone on the earth who is more learned than you? Moses replied; No. So Allah admonished him Moses ; for he did not ascribe all knowledge to Allah. It was said; on behalf of Allah ; Yes; there is a slave of ours who knows more than you. Moses said; O my Lord! Where is he? Allah said; At the junction of the two seas. Moses said; O my Lord ! Tell I me of a sign whereby I will recognize the place. Amr said to me; Allah said; That place will be where the fish will leave you. Yala said to me; Allah said to Moses ; Take a dead fish and your goal will be the place where it will become alive. So Moses took a fish and put it in a basket and said to his boy-servant I dont want to trouble you; except that you should inform me as soon as this fish leaves you. He said to Moses. You have not demanded too much. And that is as mentioned by Allah: And remember when Moses said to his attendant.... 18.60 Yusha Bin Noon. Saeed did not state that. The Prophet ﷺ said; While the attendant was in the shade of the rock at a wet place; the fish slipped out alive while Moses was sleeping. His attend an said to himself ; I will not wake him; but when he woke up; he forgot to tell him The fish slipped out and entered the sea. Allah stopped the flow of the sea. where the fish was; so that its trace looked as if it was made on a rock. Amr forming a hole with his two thumbs an index fingers; said to me; Like this; as in its trace was made on a rock. Moses said We have suffered much fatigue on this journey of ours. This was not narrated by Said. Then they returned back and found AlKhadir. Uthman Bin Abi Sulaiman said to me; they found him on a green carpet in the middle of the sea. AlKhadir was covered with his garment with one end under his feet and the other end under his head. When Moses greeted; he uncovered his face and said astonishingly; Is there such a greeting in my land? Who are you? Moses said; I am Moses. AlKhadir said; Are you the Moses of Bani Israel? Moses said; Yes. AlKhadir said; What do you want? Moses said; I came to you so that you may teach me of the truth which you were taught. AlKhadir said; Is it not sufficient for you that the Torah is in your hands and the Divine Inspiration comes to you; O Moses? Verily; I have a knowledge that you ought not learn; and you have a knowledge which I ought not learn. At that time a bird took with its beak some water from the sea: AlKhadir then said; By Allah; my knowledge and your knowledge besides Allah Knowledge is like what this bird has taken with its beak from the sea. Until; when they went on board the boat 18.71. They found a small boat which used to carry the people from this sea-side to the other sea-side. The crew recognized AlKhadir and said; The pious slave of Allah. We said to Saeed Was that Khadir? He said; Yes. The boat men said; We will not get him on board with fare. AlKhadir scuttled the boat and then plugged the hole with a piece of wood. Moses said; Have you scuttled it in order to drown these people surely; you have done a dreadful thing. 18.71 Mujahid said. Moses said so protestingly. AlKhadir said; didnt I say that you can have no patience with me? 18.72 The first inquiry of Moses was done because of forgetfulness; the second caused him to be bound with a stipulation; and the third was done intentionally. Moses said; Call me not to account for what I forgot and be not hard upon me for my affair with you. 18.73 Then they found a boy and AlKhadir killed him. Yala- said: Saeed said They found boys playing and AlKhadir got hold of a handsome infidel boy laid him down and then slew him with knife. Moses said; Have you killed a innocent soul who has killed nobody 18.74 Then they proceeded and found a wall which was on the point of falling down; and AlKhadir set it up straight. Saeed moved his hand thus and said AlKhadir raised his hand and the wall became straight. Yala said; I think Saeed said; AlKhadir touched the wall with his hand and it became straight Moses said to AlKhadir ; If you had wished; you could have taken wages for it. Saeed said; Wages that we might had eaten. And there was a king in furor ahead of them 18.79 And there was in front of them. Ibn Abbas recited: In front of them was a king. It is said on the authority of somebody other than Saeed that the king was Hudad Bin Budad. They say that the boy was called Haisur. A king who seized every ship by force. 18.79 So I wished that if that boat passed by him; he would leave it because of its defect and when they have passed they would repair it and get benefit from it. Some people said that they closed that hole with a bottle; and some said with tar. His parents were believers; and he the boy was a non-believer and we Khadir feared lest he would oppress them by obstinate rebellion and disbelief. 18.80 i.e. that their love for him would urge them to follow him in his religion; so we Khadir desired that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy 18:81. This was in reply to Moses saying: Have you killed an innocent soul.? 18.74. Near to mercy means they will be more merciful to him than they were to the former whom Khadir had killed. Other than Said; said that they were compensated with a girl. Dawud Bin Abi Aasi m said on the authority of more than one that this next child was a girl. So Moses set out along with his attendant Yusha Bin Noon; and they carried with them a fish till they reached a rock and rested there. Moses put his head down and slept. Sufyan; a sub-narrator said that somebody other than Amr said At the rock there was a water spring called AlHayat and none came in touch with its water but became alive. So some of the water of that spring fell over that fish; so it moved and slipped out of the basket and entered the sea. When Moses woke up; he asked his attendant; Bring our early meal 18.62. The narrator added: Moses did not suffer from fatigue except after he had passed the place he had been ordered to observe. His attendant Yusha Bin Noon said to him; Do you remember what happened when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget about the fish... 18.63 The narrator added: So they came back; retracing their steps and then they found in the sea; the way of the fish looking like a tunnel. So there was an astonishing event for his attendant; and there was tunnel for the fish. When they reached the rock; they found a man covered with a garment. Moses greeted him. The man said astonishingly; Is there any such greeting in your land? Moses said; I am Moses. The man said; Moses of Bani Israel? Moses said; Yes; and added; may I follow you so that you teach me something of the Knowledge which you have been taught? 18.66. AlKhadir said to him; O Moses! You have something of Allah knowledge which Allah has taught you and which I do not know; and I have something of Allah knowledge which Allah has taught me and which you do not know. Moses said; But I will follow you. AlKhadir said; Then if you follow me; ask me no question about anything until I myself speak to you concerning it. 18.70. After that both of them proceeded along the seashore. There passed by them a boat whose crew recognized AlKhadir and received them on board free of charge. So they both got on board. A sparrow came and sat on the edge of the boat and dipped its beak unto the sea. AlKhadir said to Moses. My knowledge and your knowledge and all the creation knowledge compared to Allah knowledge is not more than the water taken by this sparrow beak. Then Moses was startled by AlKhadir action of taking an adze and scuttling the boat with it. Moses said to him; These people gave us a free lift; but you intentionally scuttled their boat so as to drown them. Surely you have... 18.71 Then they both proceeded and found a boy playing with other boys. AlKhadir took hold of him by the head and cut it off. Moses said to him; Have you killed an innocent soul who has killed nobody? Surely you have done an illegal thing! 18.74 He said; Didnt I tell you that you will not be able to have patient with me up to..but they refused to entertain them as their guests. There they found a wall therein at the point of collapsing. 18.75-77 AlKhadir moved his hand thus and set it upright repaired it. Moses said to him; When we entered this town; they neither gave us hospitality nor fed us; if you had wished; you could have taken wages for it; AlKhadir said; This is the parting between you and me I will tell you the interpretation of those things about which you were unable to hold patience.... 18.78 Allah Messenger ﷺ said; We wished that Moses could have been more patient so that He Allah could have described to us more about their story. Ibn Abbas used to recite:- And in front ahead of them there was a king who used to seize every serviceable boat by force. 18.79...and as for the boy he was a disbeliever. And he found for us nothing besides it. Abu Ubaida gave each of us one date everyday. I Abu Zubair; one of the narrators said: What did you do with that? He said: We sucked that just as a baby sucks and then drank water over that; and it sufficed us for the day until night. We beat off leaves with the help of our staffs; then drenched them with water and ate them. We then went to the coast of the sea; and there rose before us on the coast of the sea something like a big mound. We came near that and we found that it was a beast; called AlAnbar spermaceti whale. Abu Ubaida said. It is dead. He then said: No but it does not matter ; we have been sent by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the path of Allah and you are hard pressed on account of the scarcity of food ; so you eat that. We three hundred in number stayed there for a month; until we grew bulky. He Jabir said: I saw how we extracted pitcher after pitcher full of fat from the cavity of its eye; and sliced from it compact piece of meat equal to a bull or like a bull. Abu Ubaida called forth thirteen men from us and he made them sit in the cavity of its eye; and he took hold of one of the ribs of its chest and made it stand and then saddled the biggest of the camels we had with us and it passed under it the arched rib ; and we provided ourselves with pieces of boiled meat especially for use in our journey. When we came back to Medina; we went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and made a mention of that to him; whereupon he said: That was a provision which Allah had brought forth for you. Is there any piece of meat left with you; so tnat you give to us that? He Jabir said: We sent to Allah Messenger ﷺ tome of that a piece of meat and he ate it. SahihMuslim-017-001-17914		It has been reported on the authority of Anas Bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit Umm Haram daughter of Milhan who was the sister of his foster-mother or his father aunt. She was the wife of Ubada Bin Samit; One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ paid her a visit. She entertained him with food and then sat down to rub his head. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ dozed off and when he woke up after a while ; he was laughing. She asked: What made you laugh. Messenger of Allah? He said: Some people from my Umma were presented to me who were fighters in the way of Allah and were sailing in this sea. Gliding smoothly on the water ; they appeared to be kings or like kings sitting on thrones the narrator has a doubt about the actual expression used by the Holy Prophet. She said: Messenger of Allah; pray to Allah that He may include me among these warriors. He prayed for her. Then he placed his head down and dozed off again. He woke up laughing; as before. She said I said: Messenger of Allah; what makes you laugh? He replied: A people from my Umma were presented to me. They were fighters in Allah way. He described them in the same words as he had described the first warriors. She said: Messenger of Allah; pray to God that He may include me among these warriors. He said: You are among the first ones. Umm Haram daughter of Milhan sailed in the aea in the time of Muawiya. He said: We realized its value when we did not even have that. Then we came to the sea where we saw a whale that the sea had tossed on the shore. SunanAlNasai-017-001-14190		It was narrated from mousab Bin Saad that his father said: On the day of the Conquest of Makkah; the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL granted amnesty to the people; except four men and two women. He said: Kill them; even if you find them clinging to the covers of Kabah. They were Ikrimah Bin Abi Jahl; Abdullah Bin Khatal; Miqyas Bin Subabah and Abdullah Bin Saad Bin Abi AlSarh. Abdullah Bin Khatl was caught while he was clinging to the covers of Kabah. Saeed Bin Huraith and Ammar Bin Yasir both rushed toward him; but Saeed; who was the younger of the two; got there before Ammar; and he killed him. Miqyas Bin Subabah was caught by the people in the marketplace; and they killed him. Ikrimah traveled by sea; and he was caught in a storm. The crew of the ship said: Turn sincerely toward Allah; for your false gods cannot help you at all in this situation. Ikrimah said: By Allah; if nothing came to save me at sea except sincerity toward Allah then nothing else will save me on land. O Allah; I promise You that if You save me from this predicament I will go to Muhammad SAWSYMOBOL and put my hand in his; and I am sure that I will find him generous and forgiving. So he came; and accepted Islam. Abdullah bin Sad Bin Abi Sarh hid in the house of Uthman Bin Affan; and when the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL called the people to give their Oath of Allegiance; he brought him; and made him stand before the Prophet SAWSYMOBOL. He Uthman said: O Messenger of Allah! Accept the allegiance of Abdullah. He raised his head and looked at him three times; refusing his allegiance each time; then he accepted his allegiance after three times. Then he turned to his Companions and said: Was there not any sensible man among you who would get up when he saw me refusing to give him my hand and kill him? They said: We did not know; O Messenger of Allah; what was in your heart. Why did you not gesture to us with your eyes? He said: It is not befitting for a Prophet that his eyes be deceitful. SunanAlNasai-017-001-14680		It was narrated that Anas Bin Malik said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to Quba he used to come to Umm Haram bint Milhan and she would feed him. Umm Haram was married to Ubadah bint AlSamit. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her and she fed him and checked his head for lice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep; then he woke up smiling. She said: What is making you smile; O Messenger of Allah? He said: Some people of my Ummah were shown to me; fighting in the cause of Allah and riding across the sea like kings on thrones. I said: O Messenger of Allah; pray to Allah to make me one of them. So the Messenger of Allah; pray to Allah to make me one of them. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for her then he slept again. One of narrators AlHarith; said in his narration : He slept then he woke up smiling. I said to him: What is making you smile; O Messenger of Allah? He said: Some people of my Ummah were shown to me; fighting in the cause of Allah and riding across the sea like kings on thrones; as he had said the first time. I said: O Messenger of Allah; pray to Allah to make me one of them. He said: You will be one of the first. And she traveled by sea at the time of Muawiyah; then she fell from her mount when she came out of the sea and died. I said: Pray to Allah to make me one of them. He said: You will be one of the first. Then Ubadah Bin AlSamit married her; and he traveled by sea; and she traveled with him; but when she came ashore a mule was brought to her and she mounted it; and it threw her off and broke her neck. He then awoke laughing. She said I asked the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ ; what made you laugh? He replied I saw some people who ere sailing in the midst of the sea like kings on thrones. She said I said the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ beseech Allaah that He may put me among them. He replied You will be among them. She said He then slept and awoke laughing. She said I asked the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ ; what made you laugh? He replied as he said in the first reply. She said I said the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ beseech Allaah that HE may put me amongst them. He replied You will be among the first. Then Ubadah Bin AlSamit married her and sailed on the sea on an expedition and took her with him. When he returned; a riding beast was brought near her to ride; but it threw her down. Her neck was broken and she died. Nafi added; Abdullah Ibn Umar sent me to Abdar-Rahman Ibn Abi Hurayra to say that there was no harm in eating it. He said; There is no harm in eating it. Marwan said; Go to Zayd Ibn Thabit and Abu Huraira and ask them about it; then come to me and tell me what they say. They went to them and asked them; and they both said; There is no harm in eating it They returned to Marwan and told him. Marwan said; I told you. Malik said that there was no harm in eating fish caught by magians; because the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; In the sea water is purity; and that which is dead in it is halal. Umm Haram was the wife of Ubada Ibn AlSamit. One day the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; had called on her and she had fed him; and sat down to delouse his hair. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; had dozed and woke up smiling. Umm Haram said; What is making you smile; Messenger of Allah? He said; Some of my community were presented to me; raiding in the way of Allah. They were riding in the middle of the sea; kings on thrones; or like kings on thrones. Ishaq wasnt sure. She said; O Messenger of Allah! Ask Allah to put me among them! So he had made a dua for her; and put his head down and slept. Then he had woken up smiling; and she said to him; Messenger of Allah; why are you smiling? He said; Some of my community were presented to me; raiding in the way of Allah. They were kings on thrones or like kings on thrones; as he had said in the first one. She said; O Messenger of Allah! Ask Allah to put me among them! He said; You are among the first. Ishaq added; She travelled on the sea in the time of Muawiya; and when she landed; she was thrown from her mount and killed. When the man died; they did as he had told them. Then Allah told the land to collect everything that was in it; and told the sea to collect everything that was in it; and then He said to the man; Why did you do this? and he said; From fear of You; Lord; and You know best. MuwataMalik-017-001-35815		Yahya related to me from Malik; from Zayd Ibn Aslam; from Ata Ibn Yasar; that Kaab AlAhbar was once coming back from Syria with a group of riders; and at a certain point along the road they found some game- meat and Kaab said they could eat it. When they got back to Madina they went to Umar Ibn AlKhattab and told him about that; and he said; Who told you you could do that?; and they said; Kaab He said; He was indeed the one I made amir over you until you should return. Later; when they were on the road to Makka; a swarm of locusts passed them by and Kaab told them to catch them and eat them. When they got back to Umar Ibn AlKhattab they told him about this; and he said to Kaab ; What made you tell them they could do that? Kaab said; It is game of the sea. He said; How do you know?; and Kaab said; Amir Almuminin; by the One in whose hand my self is; it is only the sneeze of a fish which it sneezes twice every year. Malik was asked whether a muhrim could buy game that he had found on the way. He replied; Game that is only hunted to be offered to people performing Hajj I disapprove of and forbid; but there is no harm in game that a man has which he does not intend for those in ihram; but which a muhrim finds and buys. Malik said; about someone who had some game with him that he had hunted or bought at the time when he had entered into ihram; that he did not have to get rid of it; and that there was no harm in him giving it to his family.
