So Allah said:- Neither say your prayer aloud; nor say it in a low tone. 17.110 That is; Do not say your prayer so loudly that the pagans can hear you; nor say it in such a low tone that your companions do not hear you. But seek a middle course between those extremes ; i.e.; let your companions hear; but do not relate the Quran loudly; so that they may learn it from you. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-307		Narrated Anas Bin Malik: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; When Allahs slave is put in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their footsteps; two angels come to him and make him sit and ask; What did you use to say about this man i.e. Muhammad ? The faithful Believer will say; I testify that he is Allah slave and His Apostle. Then they will say to him; Look at your place in the Hell Fire; Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it. So he will see both his places. Qatada said; We were informed that his grave would be made spacious. Then Qatada went back to the narration of Anas who said; Whereas a hypocrite or a non-believer will be asked; What did you use to say about this man. He will reply; I do not know; but I used to say what the people used to say. So they will say to him; Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance by reciting the Quran. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4409		Narrated Abdullah Bin Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ and Ubai Bin Kaab AlAnsari went to the garden where Ibn saiyad used to live. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6333		Narrated Abu Talha : On the day of Badr; the Prophet ﷺ ordered that the corpses of twenty four leaders of Quraish should be thrown into one of the dirty dry wells of Badr. It was a habit of the Prophet ﷺ that whenever he conquered some people; he used to stay at the battle-field for three nights. So; on the third day of the battle of Badr; he ordered that his camel be saddled; then he set out; and his companions followed him saying among themselves. Definitely he i.e. the Prophet is proceeding for some great purpose. When he halted at the edge of the well; he addressed the corpses of the Quraish infidels by their names and their fathers names; O so-and-so; son of so-and-so and O so-and-so; son of so-andso! Would it have pleased you if you had obeyed Allah and His Apostle? We have found true what our Lord promised us. Have you too found true what your Lord promised you? Umar said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! You are speaking to bodies that have no souls! Allah Messenger ﷺ said; By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad soul is; you do not hear; what I say better than they do. Qatada said; Allah brought them to life again to let them hear him; to reprimand them and slight them and take revenge over them and caused them to feel remorseful and regretful. Then I said to Hafsa; Tell him; Abu i Bakr is a softhearted man and if he stands in his place; he would not be able to make the people hear him. Would you order Umar to lead the prayer? Hafsa did so. The Prophet ﷺ said; Verily you are the companions of Joseph. Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in the prayer. So Abu Bakr stood for the prayer. In the meantime Allah Messenger ﷺ felt better and came out with the help of two persons and both of his legs were dragging on the ground till he entered the Masjid. When Abu Bakr heard him coming; he tried to retreat but Allah Messenger ﷺ beckoned him to carry on. The Prophet ﷺ sat on his left side. Abu Bakr was praying while standing and Allah Messenger ﷺ was leading the prayer while sitting. Abu Bakr was following the Prophet ﷺ and the people were following Abu Bakr in the prayer. You should rather say: We hear and we obey; we seek Thy forgiveness; our Lord! and unto Thee is the return. And they said: We hear and we obey; we seek Thy forgiveness; Our Lord! and unto Thee is the return. When the people recited it and it smoothly flowed on their tongues; then Allah revealed immediately afterwards: The Apostle believes in that which is sent down unto him from his Lord; and so do the believers. Each one believes in Allah and His Angels and His Books and His Apostles; saying: We differentiate not between any of His Apostles and they say: We hearken and we obey: we seek Thy forgiveness; our Lord! and unto Thee is the return ii. 285. When they did that; Allah abrogated this verse and the Great; Majestic Allah revealed: Allah burdens not a soul beyond its capacity. It gets every good that it earns and it suffers every ill that it earns. Our Lord; punish us not if we forget or make a mistake. The Prophet said: Yes; our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us. The Prophet said: Yes; our Lord; impose not on us burdens which we have not the strength to bear The Prophet said: Yes; and pardon us and grant us protection! and have mercy on us. As Allah Apostle ﷺ was going along with us towards the dwellings of Bani AlNajjar; riding upon his pony; it shied and he was about to fall. He found four; five or six graves there. He said: Who amongst you knows about those lying in the graves? A person said: It is I. Thereupon he the Holy Prophet said: In what state did they die? He said: They died as polytheists. He said: These people are passing through the ordeal in the graves. If it were not the reason that you would stop burying your dead in the graves on listening to the torment in the grave which I am listening to; I would have certainly made you hear that. Then turning his face towards us; he said: Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of Hell. They said: We seek refuge with Allah from the torment of Hell. He said: Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave. They said: We seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave. He said: Seek refuge with Allah from turmoil; its visible and invisible aspects ; and they said: We seek refuge with Allah from turmoil and its visible and invisible aspects and he said: Seek refuge with Allah from the turmoil of the Dajjal; and they said We seek refuge with Allah from the turmoil of the Dajjal. And I was a man with sharp eye- sight; so I could see it; but none except me saw it. I began to say to Umar: Dont you see it? But he would not see it. Thereupon Umar said: I would soon be able to see it when it will shine more brightly. I lay upon bed. He then made a mention of the people of Badr to us and said: Allah Messenger ﷺ showed us one day before the actual battle the place of death of the people participating in the Battle of Badr and he was saying: This would be the place of death of so and so tomorrow; if Allah wills. Umar said: By Him Who sent him with truth; they did not miss the places of their death which Allah Messenger ﷺ had pointed for them. Then they were all thrown in a well one after another. Allah Messenger ﷺ then went to them and said: O; so and so; the son of so and so; O so and so; the son of so and so; have you found correct what Allah and His Messenger had promised you? I have; however; found absolutely true what Allah had promised with me. Umar said: Allah Messenger; how are you talking with the bodies without soul in them. Thereupon he said: You cannot hear more distinctly than their hearing of what I say; but with this exception that they have not power to make any reply. SahihMuslim-017-001-19248		Abdullah Bin Amr reported that a person came to him and said: What is this hadith that you narrate that the Last Hour would come at such and such time? Thereupon he said: Hallowed be Allah; there is no god but Allah or the words to the same effect. I have decided that I would not narrate anything to anyone now. I had only said that you would see after some time an important event that the sacred House Kaba would be burnt and it would happen and definitely happen. He then reported that Allah Messenger ﷺ said: The Dajjal would appear in my Ummah and he would stay in the world for forty - I cannot say whether he meant forty days; forty months or forty years. And Allah would then send Jesus son of Mary who would resemble Urwa b Masud. He Jesus Christ would chase him and kill him. Then people would live for seven years that there would be no rancour between two persons. Then Allah would send cold wind from the side of Syria that none would survive upon the earth having a speck of good in him or faith in him but he would die; so much so that even if some amongst you were to enter the innermost part of the mountain; this wind would reach that place also and that would cause his death. I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the characteristics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil. Then Satan would come to them in human form and would say: Dont you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols but; in spite of this; they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives. Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side and the first one to hear that trumpet would be the person who would be busy in setting right the tank meant for providing water to the camels. He would swoon and the other people would also swoon; then Allah would send or He would cause to send rain which would be like dew and there would grow out of it the bodies of the people. Then the second trumpet would be blown and they would stand up and begin to look around. Then it would be said: O people; go to your Lord; and make them stand there. And they would be questioned. Then it would be said: Bring out a group out of them for the Hell-Fire. And then it would be asked: How much? It would be said: Nine hundred and ninty-nine out of one thousand for the Hell-Fire and that would be the day which would make the children old because of its terror and that would be the day about which it has been said: On the day when the shank would be uncovered lxviii. 42. I said to him: From whom did you hear it ? They said: Amir Bin Saad has narrated it. So I came to him. They said that he was not present there. So I met his brother Ibrahim Bin Saad and asked him. He said: I bear testimony to the fact that Usama narrated it to Saad saying: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying that it is a God-sent punishment from the calamity or from the remnant of the calamity with which people were afflicted before you. So when it is in a land and you are there; dont get out of it; and if this news reaches you that it has broken out in a land; then dont enter therein. Habib said: I said to Ibrahim: Did you hear Usama narrating it to Saad and he was not denying it. He said: Yes. While I was between them Ibn Abbas and Ibn Umar there came the noise of wailing from the house. Upon this Ibn Umar said that is; he pointed out to Amr that he should stand and forbid them; for : I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: The dead is punished because of the lamentation of his family. Abdullah made it general what was said for a particular occasion. Ibn Abbas said: When we were with the Commander of the believers; Umar Bin AlKhattab; we reached Baida; and there was a man under the shadow of the tree. He said to me: Go and inform me who is that person. So I went and found that he was Suhaib. I returned to him and said: You commanded me to find out for you who that was; and he is Suhaib. He Hadrat Umar said: Command him to see us. I said: He has family along with him. He said: That is of no account even if he has family along with him. So he the narrator told him to see the Commander of the believers and his party. When we came to Medina ; it was before long that the Commander of the believers was wounded; and Suhaib came weeping and crying: Alas for the brother; alas for the companion. Upon this Umar said: Didnt you know; or didnt you hear; that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The dead is punished because of the lamentation of his family? Then Abdullah made it general and Umar told it of certain occasions. So I Abdullah Bin Abu Mulaika stood up and went to Aisha and told her what Ibn Umar had said. Upon this she said: I swear by Allah that Allah Messenger ﷺ never said that dead would be punished because of his family lamenting for him. What he said was that Allah would increase the punishment of the unbeliever because of his family lamenting for him. Verily it is Allah Who has caused laughter and weeping. No bearer of a burden will bear another burden. Ibn Abu Mulaika said that AlQasim Bin Muhammad said that when the words of Umar and Ibn Umar were conveyed to Aisha; she said: You have narrated it to me from those who are neither liar nor those suspected of lying but sometimes hearing misleads. SahihMuslim-017-001-21762		Hisham narrated on the authority of his father that it was mentioned to Aisha that Ibn Umar had narrated as marfu hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that the dead would be punished in the grave because of the lamentation of his family for him. Upon this she said: He Ibn Umar missed the point. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had in fact said: He the dead is punished for his faults or for his sins; and the members of his family are wailing for him now. This misunderstanding of Ibn Umar is similar to his saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood by the well in which were lying the dead bodies of those polytheists who had been killed on the Day of Badr; and he said to them what he had to say; i. e.: They hear what I say. But he Ibn Umar misunderstood. The Prophet ﷺ had only said: They the dead understand that what I used to say to them was truth. She then recited: Certainly; thou canst not make the dead hear the call xxvii. 80 ; nor can you make those hear who are in the graves; nor can you inform them when they have taken their seats in Hell. Two of them were from Quraish and one was from Thaqif - or two from Thaqif; and one from Quraish. One of them said: Do you think that Allah can hear what we are saying? Another said: He can hear if we are loud; but He can not hear when we are quiet. Another said: If He can hear when we are loud then He can hear when we are quiet. So Allah; the Mighty and Sublime revealed: And you have not been hiding yourselves; lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you 41:22. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10126		Narrated Abdullah: I was hiding beneath the covering of the Kabah; and three men came along - a man from the Quraish; and two of his brothers-in-law from Thaqif; or a man from Thaqif and two of his brothers-in-law from Quraish. Their bellies were fat; and they did not have much understanding. They said something that I could not understand; then one of them said: Do you think that Allah can hear what we are talking about? Another said: If we raise our voices; He will hear it; but if we do not raise our voices; He will not hear it. The other one said: If He can hear something from us; then He can hear all of it. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-8558		Narrated AlMiqdad Bin AlAswad: Two of my companions and I went and presented ourselves to the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ ; for our hearing and sight had gone from suffering hunger and thirst. But there was no one who would accept us. So we went to the Prophet ﷺ and he brought us to his family where there were three goats. The Prophet ﷺ said: Milk these. We milked them; and each person drank his share; and we put Aasi de a share for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came during the night and gave the Salam such that it would not wake the sleeping person; and the one who was awake could hear it. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-8818		Narrated Aisha: that the Prophet ﷺ said: Order Abu Bakr to lead the people in Prayer. Aisha said: O Messenger of Allah! If Abu Bakr takes your place; the people will not be able to hear due to his crying; so order Umar to lead the people in Prayer. She said: So he said: Order Abu Bakr to lead the people in Prayer. Aisha said: So I said to Hafsah: Tell him that if Abu Bakr takes your place; then the people will not be able to hear due to his crying; so order Umar to lead the people in Prayer. Upon this Hafsah did it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed you are but like the companions of Yousif! Order Abu Bakr to lead the people in Prayer. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-8983		Narrated Malik Bin Abi Amir: A man came to Talha h Bin Ubaidullah and said: O Abu Muhammad; do you see this Yemeni - meaning: Abu Huraira - is he more knowledgeable of Ahadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than you? We hear from him what we do not hear from you; or does he attribute to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what he did not say? He said: As for his having heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what we did not hear from him; then that is because he was poor; having nothing; a guest of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; his hand was in the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. And we used to be people of houses and wealth; and we used to come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the two ends of the day. I do not doubt that he heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what we did not hear; and you will not find anyone in whom there is good attributing to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what he did not say. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9507		Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: When Allah created Paradise and the Fire; He sent Jibril to Paradise ; saying: Look at it and at what I have prepared in it for its inhabitants. He s.a.w said: So he came to it and looked at it; and at what Allah had prepared in it. He Jibril said: Indeed; by your Might; none shall hear of it except that he shall enter it. Then He gave the order for it to be surrounded with hardships. He said: Return to it and look at it; and at what I have prepared in it for its inhabitants. He s.a.w said: So he returned to it and found it surrounded with hardships. He returned to Him and said: Indeed; by your Might; I fear that none shall enter it. He s.a.w said: Go to the Fire and look at it and at what I have prepared in it for its inhabitants. So he found it; one part of it riding the other. So he returned to Him and said: Indeed; by your Might; none shall hear of it and then enter it. So He gave the order for it to be surrounded with desires; then He said: Return to it.; so he Jibril returned to it; then he said: Indeed; by Your Might; I fear that none shall be saved from it except that he shall enter it. SunanAlNasai-017-001-11702		It was narrated that Hittan Bin Abdullah said: Abu Mousa led us in prayer and when he was sitting; a man from among the people entered and said: Prayer is based on righteousness and is always mentioned alongside Zakah in the Quran. When Abu Mousa had said the Salam; he turned to the people and said: Which of you spoke these words? The people kept quiet. Then he said: O Hittan; perhaps you said it? He said: No; but I was afraid that you would rebuke me for it. He said:The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us our prayer and Sunnah prayers; and he said: The Imam is appointed to be followed; so when he says the Takbir; say the Takbir; when he saysNot the way of those who earned Your Anger; nor of those who went astray; say Amin; and Allah will respond to you; when he rises up from bowing and says; Sami Allalhu liman hamidah Allah hears those who praise Him ; say Rabbana lakal-hamd Our Lord; toYou be praise ; and Allah will hear you; when he prostrates; prostrate; and when he sits up; sit up. SunanAlNasai-017-001-11749		Shubah said: Sayar Bin Salamah; narrated to us; he said: I heard my father ask Abu Barzah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I said: Did you really hear him? He said: As I can hear you now. He said: I heard my father ask about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: He would not mind if he delayed it - meaning Isha until midnight; and he did not like to sleep before it or speak after it. Shubah said: Then I met him later on and asked him. He said: He used to pray Zauhr when the sun had passed its zenith; and he would pray Asr and a man could walk to the farthest point in AlMadinah and the sun would still be clear and hot. And Maghrib; I do not know the time he mentioned. After that I met him and asked him; and he said: He used to pray Fajr then after the prayer a man could regarding it; sitting next to him; look at the face of someone he knew and he could recognize it. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15458		Thalabah Bin Abbad AlAbd from the people of AlBasrah narrated that: He attended a Khutbah one day that was delivered by Samurah Bin Jundub. In his Khutbah he mentioned a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Samurah Bin Jundub said: One day a boy from among the Ansar and I were shooting at two targets of ours; during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; when the sun was at a height of two or three spears as it appears to one who is looking at the horizon. The sun turned black; and we said to one another; let us go to the masjid; for by Allah SWT this must herald some event concerning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his ummah. We went to the masjid and we saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ coming out to the people. He went forward and prayed. He stood for the longest time that he had ever stood in any prayer in which he led us; but we did not hear him saying anything. Then he bowed for the longest time that he had ever bowed in any prayer in which he led us; but we did not hear him saying anything. Then he prostrated for the longest time that he had ever prostrated in any prayer in which he led us; but we did not hear him saying anything. The he did likewise in the second rakah. And the eclipse ended as he was sitting at the end of the second rakah. The he said the salam; then he praised and glorified Allah SWT ; and bore witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah SWT and he bore witness that he was the slave and Messenger of Allah. Then he raised his head and said: Sami Allahu liman hamidah Allah hears those who praise Him. Then he said the takbir and prostrated for a long time; as long as he had bowed or longer. Then he said the takbir and raised his head; then he said the takbir and prostrated. Then he said the takbir and stood up; and recited for a long time that was shorter than the first time. Then he said the takbir and bowed for a long time that was shorter than the first time. Then he raised his head and said: Sami Allahu liman hamidah. Allah hears those who praise Him. Then he recited for a long time that was shorter than the first recitation in the second standing. Then he said the takbir and bowed for a long time that was shorter than the first time. Then he raised his head and said: Sami Allahu liman hamidah Allah hears those who praise Him. Then he said the takbir and prostrated for a long time that was shorter than the first time. Then he recited the tashahhud; then he said the taslim. Then he stood before them and praised and glorified Allah; then he said: The sun and the moon do not become eclipsed for the death or birth of anyone; but they are two of the signs of Allah SWT. Whichever of them becomes eclipsed; turn to Allah SWT ; the Mighty and Sublime; and pray. As for the disbeliever or the hypocrite; it is said to him: What did you say about this man? He says: I do not know; I used to say what the people said. It is said to him: You did not understand and you did not follow those who had understanding. Then he is dealt a blow between his ears and the man utters a scream which everything near him hears; except for the two races. He said: When you pray; make your rows straight and let one of you lead you in prayer. When the Imam says the takbir; then say the takbir. When he recites Not the way of those who earned Your anger; nor those who went astray then say: Amin and Allah will answer you. When he says the takbir and bows; then say the takbir and bow. The Imam bows before you do and stands up before you do. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: This makes up for that. And when he says: Sami Allahu liman hamidah Allah hears the one who praises Him ; then say: Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd O Allah; our Lord; and to You be the praise ; Allah will hear you; for Allah has said on the lips of His Prophet ﷺ : Allah hears the one who praises Him. And when he the Imam says the takbir and prostrates; then say the takbir and prostrate. The Imam prostrates before you do and sits up before you do. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: This makes up for that. And when he is sitting; let the first thing that any one of you says be: AlTahiyaatut-tayibatus-salawatuLillah; salamun alayka ayuhanabiyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu; salamun alayna wa ala ibadillahis-salihin; ashhadu an la ilaha ill-Allah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh All compliments; good words and prayers are due to Allah; peace be upon you O Prophet; and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger - seven phrases which are the greeting of the prayer. When he says: Sami Allahu liman hamidah Allah hears the one who praises Him ; say: Rabbana wa lakal-hamd Our Lord; to You be praise ; Allah SWT will hear you; for indeed Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; has said on the tongue of His Prophet ﷺ : Allah hears the one who praises Him. Then when the Imam says the takbir and prostrates; say the takbir and prostrate; for the Imam prostrates before you and rises before you. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: This makes up for that. Then when you are sitting; let the first thing that any one of you says be: AlTahiyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayibat; AlSalamu alaika ayuhan-Nabiyu wa rahmatAllahi wa baraktuhu. AlSalamu alaina wa ala ibad illahis-salihin; ashahdu an la illaha ill-Allah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu Allah compliments; prayers and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you; O Prophet; and the mercy of Allah SWT and his blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah SWT. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25320		Narrated Samurah Ibn Jundub: When; a boy from the Ansar and I were shooting arrows towards two of our targets; the sun was sighted by the people at the height of two or three lances above the horizon. It became black like the black herb called tannumah. One of us said to his companion: Let us go to the Masjid; by Allah; this incident of the sun will surely bring something new in the community of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. As we reached it; we suddenly saw that he the Prophet had already come out of his house. He stepped forward for a long time as much as he could do so in the prayer. But we did not hear his voice. He then performed a bowing and prolonged it as much as he could do in the prayer. But we did not hear his voice. He then prostrated himself with us and prolonged it which he never did in the prayer before. But we did not hear his voice. He then did similarly in the second rakah. The sun became bright when he sat after the second rakah. Then he uttered the salutation. He then stood up; praised Allah; and extolled Him; and testified that there was no god but Allah and testified that he was His servant and apostle. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ using these words as a supplication and I like to follow his practice. The transmitter; Abbas; said in this version: And you say: O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from infidelity and poverty. O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from punishment in the grave. There is no god but Thee. You repeat them three times in the morning and three times in the evening; and use them as a supplication. I like to follow his practice. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The supplications to be used by one who is distressed are: O Allah! Thy mercy is what I hope for. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27340		Khalid said: AlMiqdam Ibn Madikarib and a man of Banu Asad from the people of Qinnisrin went to Muawiyah Ibn Abu Sufyan. Muawiyah said to AlMiqdam: Do you know that AlHasan Ibn Ali has died? AlMiqdam recited the Quranic verse We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. A man asked him: Do you think it a calamity? He replied: Why should I not consider it a calamity when it is a fact that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take him on his lap; saying: This belongs to me and Husayn belongs to Ali? The man of Banu Asad said: He was a live coal which Allah has extinguished. AlMiqdam said: Today I shall continue to make you angry and make you hear what you dislike. He then said: Muawiyah; if I speak the truth; declare me true; and if I tell a lie; declare me false. He said: Do so. He said: I adjure you by Allah; did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding use to wear gold? He replied: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah; do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the wearing of silk? He replied: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah; do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the wearing of the skins of beasts of prey and riding on them? He said: Yes. He said: I swear by Allah; I saw all this in your house; O Muawiyah. Muawiyah said: I know that I cannot be saved from you; O Miqdam. Khalid said: Muawiyah then ordered to give him what he did not order to give to his two companions; and gave a stipend of two hundred dirhams to his son. AlMiqdam then divided it among his companions; and the man of Banu Asad did not give anything to anyone from the property he received. When Muawiyah was informed about it; he said: AlMiqdam is a generous man; he has an open hand for generosity. The man of Banu Asad withholds his things in a good manner. And when the iqama of the prayer is called; straighten your rows and make your shoulders adjacent to each other; because the straightening of the rows is part of the completion of the prayer. Then he would not say the takbir until some men who had been entrusted with straightening the rows came and told him that they were straight. Then he would say the takbir. MuwataMalik-017-001-35767		Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard the people of knowledge say; Women do not have to raise their voices when they are doing talbiya; and a woman should only speak loudly enough to hear herself. Malik said; Some one who is in ihram should not raise his voice when doing talbiya if he is in a Masjid where there are groups of people. He should only speak loudly enough for himself and those who are near him to be able to hear; except in the Masjid alHaram and the Masjid at Mina; where he should raise his voice. Malik said; I have heard some of the people of knowledge recommending people to do talbiya at the end of every prayer and at every rise on the route.
