SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3992Narrated Ali: I got a camel in my share of the war booty on the day of the battle of Badr; and the Prophet ﷺ had given me a camel from the Khumus. When I intended to marry Fatima; the daughter of Allah Apostle; I had an appointment with a goldsmith from the tribe of Bani Qainuqa to go with me to bring Idhkhir i.e. grass of pleasant smell and sell it to the goldsmiths and spend its price on my wedding party. I was collecting for my camels equipment of saddles; sacks and ropes while my two shecamels were kneeling down beside the room of an Ansari man. I returned after collecting whatever I collected; to see the humps of my two camels cut off and their flanks cut open and some portion of their livers was taken out. When I saw that state of my two camels; I could not help weeping. I asked; Who has done this? The people replied; Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib who is staying with some Ansari drunks in this house. I went away till I reached the Prophet ﷺ and Zaid Bin Haritha was with him. The Prophet ﷺ noticed on my face the effect of what I had suffered; so the Prophet ﷺ asked. What is wrong with you. I replied; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I have never seen such a day as today. Hamza attacked my two camels; cut off their humps; and ripped open their flanks; and he is sitting there in a house in the company of some drunks. The Prophet ﷺ then asked for his covering sheet; put it on; and set out walking followed by me and Zaid Bin Haritha till he came to the house where Hamza was. He asked permission to enter; and they allowed him; and they were drunk. Allah Messenger ﷺ started rebuking Hamza for what he had done; but Hamza was drunk and his eyes were red. Hamza looked at Allah Messenger ﷺ and then he raised his eyes; looking at his knees; then he raised up his eyes looking at his umbilicus; and again he raised up his eyes look in at his face. Hamza then said; Arent you but the slaves of my father? Allah Messenger ﷺ realized that he was drunk; so Allah Messenger ﷺ retreated; and we went out with him.The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen Humps And Heeling in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The obligations of Khumus in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5050Narrated Husain Bin Ali: Ali Bin Abi Talib said: I got a camel as my share of the war booty on the day of the battle of Badr; and Allah Messenger ﷺ gave me another camel. I let both of them kneel at the door of one of the Ansar; intending to carry Idhkhir on them to sell it and use its price for my wedding banquet on marrying Fatima. A goldsmith from Bani Qainqa was with me. Hamza Bin Abd AlMuttalib was in that house drinking wine and a lady singer was reciting: O Hamza! Kill the two fat old she camels and serve them to your guests. So Hamza took his sword and went towards the two camels and cut off their humps and opened their flanks and took a part of their livers. I said to Ibn Shihab; Did he take part of the humps? He replied; He cut off their humps and carried them away. Ali further said; When I saw that dreadful sight; I went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him the news. The Prophet ﷺ came out in the company of Zaid Bin Haritha who was with him then; and I too went with them. He went to Hamza and spoke harshly to him. Hamza looked up and said; Arent you only the slaves of my forefathers? The Prophet ﷺ retreated and went out. This incident happened before the prohibition of drinking. The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen Humps And Heeling in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The selling of wood and grass in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6358Narrated Ali: I had a camel which I got in my share from the booty of the battle of Badr; and the Prophet ﷺ had given me another she camel from the Khumus which Allah had bestowed on him that day. And when I intended to celebrate my marriage to Fatima; the daughter of the Prophet; I made an arrangement with a goldsmith from Bani Qainuqa that he should go with me to bring Idhkhir i.e. a kind of grass used by gold-smiths which I intended to sell to gold-smiths in order to spend its price on the marriage banquet. While I was collecting ropes and sacks of pack saddles for my two camels which were kneeling down beside an Ansari dwelling and after collecting what I needed; I suddenly found that the humps of the two camels had been cut off and their flanks had been cut open and portions of their livers had been taken out. On seeing that; I could not help weeping. I asked; Who has done that? They i.e. the people said; Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib has done it. He is present in this house with some Ansari drinkers; a girl singer; and his friends. The singer said in her song; O Hamza; get at the fat camels! On hearing this; Hamza rushed to his sword and cut of the camels humps and cut their flanks open and took out portions from their livers. Then I came to the Prophet; with whom Zaid Bin Haritha was present. The Prophet ﷺ noticed my state and asked; What is the matter? I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; I have never experienced such a day as today! Hamza attacked my two camels; cut off their humps and cut their flanks open; and he is still present in a house along some drinkers. The Prophet ﷺ asked for his cloak; put it on; and proceeded; followed by Zaid Bin Haritha and myself; till he reached the house where Hamza was. He asked the permission to enter; and he was permitted. The Prophet ﷺ started blaming Hamza for what he had done. Hamza was drunk and his eyes were red. He looked at the Prophet ﷺ then raised his eyes to look at his knees and raised his eves more to look at his face and then said; You are not but my father slaves. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6421Narrated Jafar Bin Amr Bin Umaiya: I went out with Ubaidullah Bin Adi AlKhaiyar. When we reached Hims i.e. a town in Syria ; Ubaidullah Bin Adi said to me ; Would you like to see Wahshi so that we may ask him about the killing of Hamza? I replied; Yes. Wahshi used to live in Hims. We enquired about him and somebody said to us; He is that in the shade of his palace; as if he were a full water skin. So we went up to him; and when we were at a short distance from him; we greeted him and he greeted us in return. Ubaidullah was wearing his turban and Wahshi could not see except his eyes and feet. Ubaidullah said; O Wahshi! Do you know me? Wahshi looked at him and then said; No; by Allah! But I know that Adi Bin AlKhiyar married a woman called Um Qital; the daughter of Abu AlIs; and she delivered a boy for him at Mecca; and I looked for a wet nurse for that child. Once I carried that child along with his mother and then I handed him over to her; and your feet resemble that child feet. Then Ubaidullah uncovered his face and said to Wahshi ; Will you tell us the story of the killing of Hamza? Wahshi replied Yes; Hamza killed Tuaima Bin Adi Bin AlKhaiyar at Badr battle so my master; Jubair Bin Mutim said to me; If you kill Hamza in revenge for my uncle; then you will be set free. When the people set out for the battle of Uhud in the year of Ainain..Ainain is a mountain near the mountain of Uhud; and between it and Uhud there is a valley.. I went out with the people for the battle. When the army aligned for the fight; Siba came out and said; Is there any Muslim to accept my challenge to a duel? Hamza Bin Abdul Muttalib came out and said; O Siba. O Ibn Um Anmar; the one who circumcises other ladies! Do you challenge Allah and His Apostle? Then Hamza attacked and killed him; causing him to be non-extant like the bygone yesterday. I hid myself under a rock; and when he i.e. Hamza came near me; I threw my spear at him; driving it into his umbilicus so that it came out through his buttocks; causing him to die. When all the people returned to Mecca; I too returned with them. I stayed in Mecca till Islam spread in it i.e. Mecca. Then I left for Taif; and when the people of Taif sent their messengers to Allah Messenger ﷺ ; I was told that the Prophet ﷺ did not harm the messengers; So I too went out with them till I reached Allah Messenger ﷺ. When he saw me; he said; Are you Wahshi? I said; Yes. He said; Was it you who killed Hamza? I replied; What happened is what you have been told of. He said; Can you hide your face from me? So I went out when Allah Messenger ﷺ died; and Mousailamah AlKadhdhab appeared claiming to be a prophet. I said; I will go out to Mousailamah so that I may kill him; and make amends for killing Hamza. So I went out with the people to fight Mousailamah and his followers and then famous events took place concerning that battle. Suddenly I saw a man i.e. Mousailamah standing near a gap in a wall. He looked like an AlAshcolored camel and his hair was dishevelled. So I threw my spear at him; driving it into his chest in between his breasts till it passed out through his shoulders; and then an Ansari man attacked him and struck him on the head with a sword. Abdullah Bin Umar said; A slave girl on the roof of a house said: Alas! The chief of the believers i.e. Mousailamah has been killed by a black slave. The Chapter on Killing And Fire in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The martyrdom of Hamza in Sahih AlBukhari

I made them kneel down one day at the door of an Ansari; and I wanted to carry on them Idhkhir a kind of grass in order to sell that. There was with me a goldsmith of the tribe of Qainuqa. I saught to give a wedding feast on the occasion of marriage with Fatima with the help of that the price accrued from the sale of this grass. He said: He cut off the humps altogether. Ibn Shihab reported Ali having said: I saw this horrible sight and it shocked me; and I came to Allah Apostle ﷺ and there was Zaid b; Haritha with him and communicated to him this news. SahihMuslim-017-001-20909Husain Bin Ali reported Ali having said: There fell to my lot a camel out of the spoils of war on the Day of Badr; and Allah Messenger ﷺ gave me another camel on that day out of the Khums one-fifth reserved for Allah and His Messenger. When I made up my mind to consummate my marriage with Fatima; the daughter of Allah Messenger ﷺ ; I prevailed upon a goldsmith of the tribe of Qainuqa to go along with me so that we might bring Idhkhir wishing to sell that to the goldsmiths and thus I should be able to arrange my wedding feast. While I was arranging the equipments. i. e. litters; sacks and ropes; my two camels were sitting down at the side of the apartment of a person of the Ansar. I collected the different articles of equipment and found to my surprise that their humps had been chopped off and their haunches had been cut off and their livers had been taken out. I could not help weeping when I saw that plight of theirs. I said: Who has done that? They said: Hamza Bin Abd AlMuttalib has done this. and he is in this house dead drunk in the company of some of the Ansair with Aasi nging girl singing before him and his companions. She said in her song: O Hamza. get up and attack these falty camels. Thereupon Hamza stood up with a sword in his hand and cut off their humps and ripped their haunches and tore out their livers. Ali said: I went away until I came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and there was with him Zaid Bin Haritha. Allah Messenger ﷺ recognised from my face what I had experienced; whereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: What has happened to you? I said: Messenger of Allah; by Allah; I have never seen such an unfortunate day as this day. Hamza has committed aggression to my camels; and has cut off their humps. and ripped their haunches; and he is in a house in the company of some drunkards. Hearing this Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for his mantle and; putting it on him; he proceeded; and I and Zaid Bin Haritha followed him; until he came to the door of the house in which there was Hamza. He the Holy Prophet sought permission which they granted him. and they were all drunk. Allah Messenger ﷺ began to reprimand Hamza for what he had done. Hamza eyes were red. He cast a glance at Allah Messenger ﷺ and then looked towards his knees. and then lifted his eyes and cast a glance at his waist and then lifted his eyes and saw his face. And then Hamza said: Are you anything but the slaves of my father? Alah Messenger ﷺ came to know that he was intoxicated; and he thus turned upon his heels; and came out; and we also came out along with him.The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen Humps And Heeling in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 1 in Sahih Muslim
