SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1164Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Your stay in this world in comparison to the stay of the nations preceding you; is like the period between Asr prayer and the sun set in comparison to a whole day. The people of the Torah were given the Torah and they acted on it till midday and then they were unable to carry on. And they were given a reward equal to one Qirat each. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel and they acted on it till Asr Prayer and then they were unable to carry on; so they were given la reward equal to one Qirat each. Then you were given the Quran and you acted on it till sunset; therefore you were given a reward equal to two Qirats each. On that; the people of the Scriptures said; These people Muslims did less work than we but they took a bigger reward. Allah said to them. Have I done any oppression to you as regards your rights? They said; No. Then Allah said; That is My Blessing which I grant to whomsoever I will. The Chapter on Jihad And Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Say Bring here the Taurat and recite it in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4248Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Your period i.e. the Muslims period in comparison to the periods of the previous nations; is like the period between the Asr prayer and sunset. And your example in comparison to the Jews and the Christians is like the example of a person who employed some laborers and asked them; Who will work for me till midday for one Qirat each? The Jews worked for half a day for one Qirat each. The person asked; Who will do the work for me from midday to the time of the Asr prayer for one Qirat each? The Christians worked from midday till the Asr prayer for one Qirat. Then the person asked; Who will do the work for me from the Asr till sunset for two Qirats each? The Prophet ﷺ added; It is you i.e. Muslims who are doing the work from the Asr till sunset; so you will have a double reward. The Jews and the Christians got angry and said; We have done more work but got less wages. Allah said; Have I been unjust to you as regards your rights? They said; No. So Allah said; Then it is My Blessing which I bestow on whomever I like. The Chapter on Obligatory Prayers And The Sun in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What has been said about Bani Israel in Sahih AlBukhari

And you are in comparison to the Jews and Christians; like a man who employeed some workers and he said: Who will work for me until Midday for a Qirat each? So the Jews worked for half a day for a Qirat each. Then he said: Who will work for me from the middle of the day until Prayer AlAsr for a Qirat each? So the Christians worked for a Qirat each. Then it is you who are doing the work from Prayer AlAsr until the setting of the sun for two Qirats each. So the Jews and the Christians got angry and said: We did more work but were given less? SunanAlNasai-017-001-16402It was narrated from Amr Bin Maimun from Abdullah Bin Rubayah AlSulami; who was also one of the Companions of Allah Messenger from Ubaid Bin Khalid AlSulami; that: the Messenger of Allah established the bond of brotherhood between two men. One of them was killed and the other died after him. We offered the funeral prayer for him; and the Prophet said: What did you say? They said: O Allah; forgive him; O Allah; have mercy on him; O Allah; join him with his companion. The Prophet said: Where is his Salah in comparison to his companion Salah? Where are his deeds in comparison to his companion deeds? Indeed the difference between heaven and Earth. One of narrators Amr Bin Maimun Said: I was happy with that because he raised it for me.The Chapter on Prayers And Mercy And The Companions in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Supplication in Sunan AlNasai

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25985Salamah Bin Kuhail said: Zaid Bin Wahb AlJuhani told us that he was in the army which proceeded to fight with the Khawarij in the company of Ali. Ali then said: O people! I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: there will appear from among my community people who recite the Quran; and your recitation has no comparison with their recitation; and your prayer has no comparison with their prayer; and your fasts have no comparison with their fasts. They will recite the Quran thinking that it is beneficial for them; while it is harmful for them. Their prayer will not pass their collar-bones. They will swerve from Islam as an arrow goes through the animal shot at. If the army that is approaching them knows what reward has been decided for them at the tongue of their Prophet ﷺ ; they would leave other good activities. The sign of that is that among them there will be a man who has an upper arm; but not hand; on his upper arm there will be something like the nipple of a female breast; having white hair thereon. Will you go to Muawiyah and the people of Syria; and leave them behind among your children and property? I swear by Allah; I hope these are the same people; for they shed the blood unlawfully; and attacked the cattle of the people so go on in the name of Allah. Salamah Bin Kuhail said: Zaid Bin Wahb then informed me of all the halting places one by one; saying : Until we passed a bridge. When we fought with each other; Abdullah Bin Wahb AlRasibi; who was the leader of the Khawarij; said to them: Throw away the lances and pull out the swords from their sheaths; for I am afraid they will adjure you as they had adjured on the day of Harura. So they threw away their lances and pulled out their swords; and the people pierced them with their lances. They were killed lying one on the other. On that day only two persons of the partisans of Ali were afflicted. Ali said: Search for the man with the crippled hand. But they could not find him. Then Ali got up himself and went to the people who had been killed and were lying on one another. He said: Take them out. They found him just near the ground. So he shouted: Allah is Most Great! He said: Allah spoke the truth; and His Apostle has conveyed. Ubaidat AlSalmani stood up to him; saying: Commander of the Faithful! Have you heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? He said: Yes; by him; there is no God but He. He put to swear thrice and he swore. The Chapter on Horses Islam And Alquran in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Fighting Against The Khawarij in Sunan Abu Dawoud
