SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1233Narrated Aisha: I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the wall outside the Kaba. Is it regarded as part of the Kaba? He replied; Yes. I said; Then why didnt the people include it in the Kaba? He said; Because your people ran short of money. I asked; Then why is its gate so high? He replied; Your people did so in order to admit to it whom they would and forbid whom they would. Were your people not still close to the period of ignorance; and were I not afraid that their hearts might deny my action; then surely I would include the wall in the Kaba and make its gate touch the ground. The Chapter on The Kabah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What uses of AlLau are allowed in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2717Narrated Sahl Bin Sad: The most beloved names to Ali was Abu Turab; and he used to be pleased when we called him by it; for none named him Abu Turab for the first time ; but the Prophet. Once Ali got angry with his wife Fatima; and went out of his house and slept near a wall in the Masjid. The Prophet ﷺ came searching for him; and someone said; He is there; Lying near the wall. The Prophet ﷺ came to him while his Alis back was covered with dust. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5037Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair: An Ansari man quarreled with AlZubair about a canal in the Harra which was used for irrigating date-palms. Allah Messenger ﷺ ; ordering AlZubair to be moderate; said; O Zubair! Irrigate your land first and then leave the water for your neighbor. The Ansari said; Is it because he is your aunt son? On that the color of the face of Allah Messenger ﷺ changed and he said; O Zubair! Irrigate your land and withhold the water till it reaches the walls that are between the pits around the trees. So; Allah Apostle gave AlZubair his full right. AlZubair said; By Allah; the following verse was revealed in that connection: But no; by your Lord They can have No faith Until they make you judge In all disputes between them. 4.65 The sub-narrator; Ibn Shihab said to Juraij another sub-narrator ; The Ansar and the other people interpreted the saying of the Prophet; Irrigate your land and withhold the water till it reaches the walls between the pits around the trees; as meaning up to the ankles. The Chapter on Farming And Irrigation Trees in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The land to be covered with water up to the ankles in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5721Narrated Aisha: I asked the Prophet ﷺ whether the round wall near Kaba was part of the Kaba. The Prophet ﷺ replied in the affirmative. I further said; What is wrong with them; why have they not included it in the building of the Kaba? He said; Dont you see that your people Quraish ran short of money so they could not include it inside the building of Kaba ? I asked; What about its gate? Why is it so high? He replied; Your people did this so as to admit into it whomever they liked and prevent whomever they liked. Were your people not close to the Pre-Islamic Period of ignorance i.e. they have recently embraced Islam and were I not afraid that they would dislike it; surely I would have included the area of the wall inside the building of the Kaba and I would have lowered its gate to the level of the ground. The Chapter on The Kabah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The superiority of Makkah and its buildings and the statement of Allah Taala in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6391Narrated AlBara: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent Abdullah Bin Atik and Abdullah Bin Utba with a group of men to Abu Rafi to kill him. They proceeded till they approached his castle; whereupon Abdullah Bin Atik said to them; Wait here ; and in the meantime I will go and see. Abdullah said later on; I played a trick in order to enter the castle. By chance; they lost a donkey of theirs and came out carrying a flaming light to search for it. I was afraid that they would recognize me; so I covered my head and legs and pretended to answer the call to nature. The gatekeeper called; Whoever wants to come in; should come in before I close the gate. So I went in and hid myself in a stall of a donkey near the gate of the castle. They took their supper with Abu Rafi and had a chat till late at night. Then they went back to their homes. When the voices vanished and I no longer detected any movement; I came out. I had seen where the gate-keeper had kept the key of the castle in a hole in the wall. I took it and unlocked the gate of the castle; saying to myself; If these people should notice me; I will run away easily. Then I locked all the doors of their houses from outside while they were inside; and ascended to Abu Rafi by a staircase. I saw the house in complete darkness with its light off; and I could not know where the man was. So I called; O Abu Rafi! He replied; Who is it? I proceeded towards the voice and hit him. He cried loudly but my blow was futile. Then I came to him; pretending to help him; saying with a different tone of my voice; What is wrong with you; O Abu Rafi? He said; Are you not surprised? Woe on your mother! A man has come to me and hit me with a sword! So again I aimed at him and hit him; but the blow proved futile again; and on that Abu Rafi cried loudly and his wife got up. I came again and changed my voice as if I were a helper; and found Abu Rafi lying straight on his back; so I drove the sword into his belly and bent on it till I heard the sound of a bone break. Then I came out; filled with astonishment and went to the staircase to descend; but I fell down from it and got my leg dislocated. I bandaged it and went to my companions limping. I said to them ; Go and tell Allah Messenger ﷺ of this good news; but I will not leave this place till I hear the news of his i.e. Abu Rafis death. When dawn broke; an announcer of death got over the wall and announced; I convey to you the news of Abu Rafi death. I got up and proceeded without feeling any pain till I caught up with my companions before they reached the Prophet ﷺ to whom I conveyed the good news. The Chapter on Recitations And Poetry And Alquran And Remembrance in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The killing of Ab Rafi Abdullah Bin Abi AlHuqaiq in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6727Narrated Abdullah Bin Umar: The Prophet ﷺ arrived at Mecca in the year of the Conquest of Mecca while Usama was riding behind him on his camel. AlQaswa. Bilal and Uthman Bin Talha were accompanying him. When he made his camel kneel down near the Kaba; he said to Uthman; Get us the key of the Kaba. He brought the key to him and opened the gate of the Kaba ; for him. The Prophet; Usama; Bilal and Uthman bin Talha entered the Kaba and then closed the gate behind them from inside. The Prophet ﷺ stayed there for a long period and then came out. The people rushed to get in; but I went in before them and found Bilal standing behind the gate; and I said to him; Where did the Prophet ﷺ pray? He said; He prayed between those two front pillars. The Kaba was built on six pillars; arranged in two rows; and he prayed between the two pillars of the front row leaving the gate of the Kaba at his back and facing in prayer the wall which faces one when one enters the Kaba. Between him and that wall was the distance of about three cubits. But I forgot to ask Bilal about the number of rakat the Prophet ﷺ had prayed. There was a red piece of marble at the place where he i.e. the Prophet had offered the prayer. The Chapter on The Kabah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Hajjat AlWada in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-917Narrated Anas: When the Prophet ﷺ arrived Medina he dismounted at Awali-i-Medina amongst a tribe called Banu Amr Bin Auf. He stayed there For fourteen nights. Then he sent for Bani AlNajjar and they came armed with their swords. As if I am looking just now as the Prophet ﷺ was sitting over his Rahila Mount with Abu Bakr riding behind him and all Banu AlNajjar around him till he dismounted at the courtyard of Abu Ayoub house. The Prophet ﷺ loved to pray wherever the time for the prayer was due even at sheep-folds. Later on he ordered that a Masjid should be built and sent for some people of Bani AlNajjar and said; O Banu AlNajjar! Suggest to me the price of this walled piece of land of yours. They replied; No! By Allah! We do not demand its price except from Allah. Anas added: There were graves of pagans in it and some of it was unleveled and there were some date-palm trees in it. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that the graves of the pagans be dug out and the unleveled land be level led and the date-palm trees be cut down. So all that was done. They aligned these cut date-palm trees towards the Qibla of the Masjid as a wall and they also built two stone side-walls of the Masjid. His companions brought the stones while reciting some poetic verses. The Prophet ﷺ was with them and he kept on saying; There is no goodness except that of the Hereafter; O Allah! So please forgive the Ansars and the emigrants. The Chapter on Worship And Alquran In Homes in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Is it permissible to dig the graves of pagans of the period of Ignorance and to use that place as a Masjid in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-23161Aisha Allah be pleased with her reported: I asked Allah Messenger ﷺ about the wall; circumpassing the House i. e. whether the wall on the side of Hijr was included in the Kaba. He said; Yes. I said: Then why did they not include it in the House? He said: Your people ran short of the means to do so. I said: Why is it that the level of its door is raised high? He said: Your people did it so that they should admit one whom they liked; and forbid him whom they disliked; and if your people were not new converts to faith; and I did not apprehend that their hearts would feel agitated at this. I would have definitely included the area of this wall-in the House and would have brought the door to the level of the ground. The Chapter on Kabah Door in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 70 in Sahih Muslim
