SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1552		Narrated Aisha: The Quraish people became very worried about the Makhzumiya lady who had committed theft. They said; Nobody can speak in favor of the lady to Allah Messenger ﷺ and nobody dares do that except Usama who is the favorite of Allah Messenger ﷺ. When Usama spoke to Allah Messenger ﷺ about that matter; Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Do you intercede with me to violate one of the legal punishment of Allah? Then he got up and addressed the people; saying; O people! The nations before you went astray because if a noble person committed theft; they used to leave him; but if a weak person among them committed theft; they used to inflict the legal punishment on him. By Allah; if Fatima; the daughter of Muhammad committed theft; Muhammad will cut off her hand.! SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2035		Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent an army detachment and made Usama Bin Zaid its commander. Some people criticized spoke badly of Usama leadership. So Allah Messenger ﷺ got up saying; If you people are criticizing Usama leadership; you have already criticized the leadership of his father before. But Waaimullah i.e.; By Allah ; he i.e. Zaid deserved the leadership; and he was one of the most beloved persons to me; and now this his son Usama is one of the dearest persons to me after him. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2062		Narrated Usama: Once a daughter of Allah Messenger ﷺ sent a message to Allah Messenger ﷺ while Usama; Sad; and my father or Ubai were sitting there with him. She said; in the message ; My child is going to die; please come to us. Allah Messenger ﷺ returned the messenger and told him to convey his greetings to her; and say; Whatever Allah takes; is for Him and whatever He gives is for Him; and everything with Him has a limited fixed term in this world : so she should be patient and hope for Allah reward. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4654		Narrated Nafi from Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ came to Mecca through its higher region on the day of the Conquest of Mecca riding his camel on which Usama was riding behind him. Bilal and Uthman Bin Talha ; one of the servants of the Kaba; were also accompanying him till he made his camel kneel in the Masjid and ordered the latter to bring the key of the Kaba. He opened the door of the Kaba and Allah Messenger ﷺ entered in the company of Usama; Bilal and Uthman; and stayed in it for a long period. When he came out; the people rushed to it; and Abdullah Bin Umar was the first to enter it and found Bilal standing behind the door. He asked Bilal; Where did the Prophet ﷺ offer his prayer? He pointed to the place where he had offered his prayer. Abdullah said; I forgot to ask him how many rakat he had performed. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6641		Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair: A lady committed theft during the lifetime of Allah Messenger ﷺ in the Ghazwa of AlFath; i.e. Conquest of Mecca. Her folk went to Usama Bin Zaid to intercede for her with the Prophet. When Usama interceded for her with Allah Messenger ﷺ ; the color of the face of Allah Messenger ﷺ changed and he said; Do you intercede with me in a matter involving one of the legal punishments prescribed by Allah? Usama said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Ask Allah Forgiveness for me. So in the afternoon; Allah Apostle got up and addressed the people. He praised Allah as He deserved and then said; Amma badu ! The nations prior to you were destroyed because if a noble amongst them stole; they used to excuse him; and if a poor person amongst them stole; they would apply Allahs Legal Punishment to him. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad soul is; if Fatima; the daughter of Muhammad stole; I would cut her hand. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ gave his order in the case of that woman and her hand was cut off. Afterwards her repentance proved sincere and she got married. Aisha said; That lady used to visit me and I used to convey her demands to Allah Messenger ﷺ. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6727		Narrated Abdullah Bin Umar: The Prophet ﷺ arrived at Mecca in the year of the Conquest of Mecca while Usama was riding behind him on his camel. AlQaswa. Bilal and Uthman Bin Talha were accompanying him. When he made his camel kneel down near the Kaba; he said to Uthman; Get us the key of the Kaba. He brought the key to him and opened the gate of the Kaba ; for him. The Prophet; Usama; Bilal and Uthman bin Talha entered the Kaba and then closed the gate behind them from inside. The Prophet ﷺ stayed there for a long period and then came out. The people rushed to get in; but I went in before them and found Bilal standing behind the gate; and I said to him; Where did the Prophet ﷺ pray? He said; He prayed between those two front pillars. The Kaba was built on six pillars; arranged in two rows; and he prayed between the two pillars of the front row leaving the gate of the Kaba at his back and facing in prayer the wall which faces one when one enters the Kaba. Between him and that wall was the distance of about three cubits. But I forgot to ask Bilal about the number of rakat the Prophet ﷺ had prayed. SahihMuslim-017-001-17363		Aisha reported that the Quraish had been anxious about the Makhzumi woman who had committed theft; and said: Who will speak to Allah Messenger ﷺ about her? They said: Who dare it; but Usama; the loved one of Allah Messenger ﷺ ? So Usama spoke to him. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: Do you intercede regarding one of the punishments prescribed by Allah? He then stood up and addressed people saying: O people; those who have gone before you were destroyed; because if any one of high rank committed theft amongst them; they spared him; and it anyone of low rank committed theft; they inflicted the prescribed punishment upon him. By Allah; if Fatima; daughter of Muhammad; were to steal; I would have her hand cut off. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Rumh the words are : Verily those before you perished. SahihMuslim-017-001-18567		It is narrated by Safwan Bin Muhriz that Jundab Bin Abdullah AlBajali during the stormy days of Ibn AlZubair sent a message to Asas Bin Salama: Gather some men of your family so that I should talk to them. He Asas sent a messenger to them to the members of his family. When they had assembled; Jundab came there with a yellow hooded cloak on him; He said: Talk what you were busy in talking. The talk went on by turns; till there came his Jundabs turn. He took off the hooded cloak from his head and said: I have come to you with no other intention but to narrate to you a hadith of your Apostle: Verily the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a squad of the Muslims to a tribe of the polytheists. Both the armies confronted one another. There was a man among the army of polytheists who was so dashing that ; whenever he intended to kill a man from among the Muslims; he killed him. Amongst the Muslims too was a man looking forward to an opportunity of his the polytheists unmindfulness. He the narrator said: We talked that he was Usama b; Zaid. When he raised his sword; he the soldier of the polytheists uttered: There is no god but Allah; but he Usama Bin Zaid killed him. When the messenger of the glad tidings came to the Apostle ﷺ he asked him about the events of the battle and he informed him about the man Usama and what he had done He the Prophet of Allah called for him and asked him why he had killed him. He Usama said: Messenger of Allah; he struck the Muslims and killed such and such of them. And he even named some of them. He continued : I attacked him and when he saw the sword he said: There is no god but Allah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Did you kill him? He Usama replied in the affirmative. He the Holy Prophet remarked: What would you do with: There is no god but Allah; when he would come before you on the Day of Judgment? He Usama said: Messenger of Allah; beg pardon for me from your Lord. He the Holy Prophet said: What would you do with: There is no god but Allah when he would come before you on the Day of Judgment? He the Holy Prophet added nothing to it but kept saying: What would you do with: There is no god but Allah; when he would come before you on the Day of Judgment? SahihMuslim-017-001-20305		Shuba reported from Habib: While we were in Medina we heard of plague having broken out in Kufa. Ata Bin Yasir and others said to me that Allah Messenger ﷺ had said. If you are in a land where it this scourge has broken out; dont get out of it; and if you were to know that it had broken in another land; then dont enter it. I said to him: From whom did you hear it ? They said: Amir Bin Saad has narrated it. So I came to him. They said that he was not present there. So I met his brother Ibrahim Bin Saad and asked him. He said: I bear testimony to the fact that Usama narrated it to Saad saying: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying that it is a God-sent punishment from the calamity or from the remnant of the calamity with which people were afflicted before you. So when it is in a land and you are there; dont get out of it; and if this news reaches you that it has broken out in a land; then dont enter therein. Habib said: I said to Ibrahim: Did you hear Usama narrating it to Saad and he was not denying it. He said: Yes. He asked for water; and we gave him a cup full of nabidh and he drank it; and gave the remaining part to Usama; and he the Holy Prophet said: You have done Food; You have done well. Usama said; The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; The plague is a punishment that was sent down on a party of the Banu Israil or whoever was before them. When you hear of it in a land; do not enter it. If it comes upon a land and you are in it; do not depart in flight from it. MuwataMalik-017-001-35257		Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah Ibn Yazid; the mawla of AlAswad Ibn Sufyan from Abu Salama Ibn Abdulrahman Ibn Awuf from Fatima bint Qays that Abu Amr Ibn Hafs divorced her absolutely while he was away in Syria. His agent sent her some barley and she was displeased with it; saying; By Allah; I dont expect anything from you. She went to the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and mentioned it to him. He said; You have no maintenance. He then ordered her to spend her idda in the house of Umm Sharik. Then he said; This is a woman whom my companions visit. Spend the idda in the house of Ibn Umm Maktum. He is a blind man and you can undress at his home. When you are free to remarry; tell me. She continued; When I was free to remarry; I mentioned to him that Muawiya Ibn Abi Sufyan and Abu Jahm Ibn Hisham had asked for me in marriage. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; As for Abu Jahm; he never puts down his stick from his shoulder i.e. he is always travelling ; and as for Muawiya he is a poor man with no property. Marry Usama Ibn Zayd. I objected to him and he said; Marry Usama Ibn Zayd; so I married him; and Allah put good in it and I was content with him.
