SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1612Narrated Sahl Bin Sad: I witnessed the case of Lian the case of a man who charged his wife for committing illegal sexual intercourse when I was fifteen years old. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that they be divorced; and the husband said; If I kept her; I would be a liar. I remember that AlZubair also said; It was said that if that woman brought forth the child with such-and-such description; her husband would prove truthful; but if she brought it with such-and-such description looking like a Wahra a red insect ; he would prove untruthful. I heard AlZubair also saying; Finally she gave birth to a child of description which her husband disliked. The Chapter on Fornication And Adultery And Family in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To behave in a suspicious and dishonest way and to accuse others without proof in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2001Narrated Abu Rafi: The Prophet ﷺ said; The neighbor has more right to be taken care of by his neighbor than anyone else. Some men said; If one wants to buy a house for 20;000 Dirhams then there is no harm to play a trick to deprive somebody of preemption by buying it just on paper with 20;000 Dirhams but paying to the seller only 9;999 Dirhams in cash and then agree with the seller to pay only one Dinar in cash for the rest of the price i.e. 10;001 Dirhams. If the preemptor offers 20;000 Dirhams for the house; he can buy it otherwise he has no right to buy it by this trick he got out of preemption. If the house proves to belong to somebody else other than the seller; the buyer should take back from the seller what he has paid; i.e.; 9;999 Dirhams and one Dinar; because if the house proves to belong to somebody else; so the whole bargain deal is unlawful. If the buyer finds a defect in the house and it does not belong to somebody other than the seller; the buyer may return it and receive 20;000 Dirhams instead of 9999 Dirham plus one Dinar which he actually paid. Abu Abdullah said; So that man allows some people the playing of tricks amongst the Muslims although the Prophet ﷺ said; In dealing with Muslims one should not sell them sick animals or bad things or stolen things. The Chapter on Financial Transaction And Food in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Tricks by an official person to obtain presents in Sahih AlBukhari

My first husband divorced me and then I married another man who entered upon me to consummate his marriage but he proved to be impotent and did not approach me except once during which he benefited nothing from me. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-29764Abu Qatadah said We went out with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ in the year of Hunain. And when the armies met; the Muslims suffered a reverse. I saw one of the polytheists prevailing over a Muslim; so I went round him till I came to him from behind and struck him with my sword at the vein between his neck and shoulder. He came towards me and closed with me; so that I felt death was near; but he was overtaken by death and let me go. I then caught upon on Umar Bin AlKhattab and said to him What is the matter with the people? He said It is what Allaah has commanded. Then the people returned and the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ sat down and said If anyone kills a man and can prove it; he will get his spoil. I stood up and said Who will testify for me? I then sat down. He said again If anyone kills a man and can prove it; he will get his spoil. I stood up and said Who will testify for me? I then sat down. He then said the same for the third time. I then stood up. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said What is the matter with you; Abu Qatadah? I told him the story. A man from the people said He has spoken the truth; and I have this spoil with me; so make him agreeable to take something in exchange. Abu Bakr said In that case I swear by Allaah that he must not do so. One of the Allaahs heroes does not fight for Allaah and his Apostle and then give you his spoil. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said He has spoken the truth; hand it over to him. Abu Qatadah said he handed it over to me; I sold the coat of mail and brought a garden among Banu Salamh. This was the first property I acquired in the Islamic period. The Chapter on Truth And Hypocrisy And Islam And Forgiveness in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Regarding The Salab Spoils Being Given To The Person Who Killed in Sunan Abu Dawoud

Hadith PageArabic TextEnglish TranslationBook and Chapter
MuwataMalik-017-001-35427Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya Ibn Said from Amr Ibn Kathir Ibn Aflah from Abu Muhammad; the mawla of Abu Qatada that Abu Qatada Ibn Ribi said; We went out with the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; in the year of Hunayn. When the armies met; the Muslims were put in disarray. I saw a man from the idol worshippers who had got the better of one of the Muslims; so I circled round and came up behind him; and struck him with a sword on his shoulder-blade. He turned to me and grabbed me so hard that I felt the smell of death in it. Then death overcame him; and he let go of me. He continued; I met Umar Ibn AlKhattab and said to him; What going on with the people? He replied; The Command of Allah. Then the people took hold of the battle and the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Whoever has killed one of the dead and can prove it; can strip him of his personal effects. I stood up and said; Who will testify for me? and then I sat down. The Messenger of Allah repeated; Whoever has killed one of the dead and can prove it; can strip him of his personal effects. I stood up and said; Who will testify for me? then I sat down. Then he repeated his statement a third time; so I stood up; and the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; What the matter with you; Abu Qatada? So I related my story to him. A man said; He has spoken the truth; Messenger of Allah. I have the effects of that slain person with me; so give him compensation for it; Messenger of Allah. Abu Bakr said; No; by Allah! He did not intend that one of the lions of Allah should fight for Allah and His Messenger and then give you his spoils. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; He has spoken the truth; hand it over to him. He gave it to me; and I sold the breast-plate and I bought a garden in the area of the Banu Salima with the money. It was my first property; and I acquired it in Islam. The Chapter on Truth And Hypocrisy Punishment in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Divorce in Muwata Malik
