SunanAlNasai-017-001-16847It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: I stayed overnight with my maternal aunt Maimunah Bin AlHarith; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed overnight with her. I saw him get up to relieve himself and he went to the waterskin and undid its string; then he performed Ablution and that was moderate in the amount of water used. Then he went to his bed and slept. Then he got up again and went to the waterskin and undid its string; and performed Ablution again; like the first time. Then he stood and prayed; and when he prostrated he said: Allahummajal fi qalbi nuran wajal fi sami nuran wajal fi basri nuran; wajal min tahti nuran wajal min fawqi nuran; wa an yamii nuran wa an yasari nuran wajal amami nuran; wajal khalfi nuran wa azimli nura O Allah; place light in my heart; and place light in my hearing; and place light in my seeing; and place light beneath me; and place light above me; and light on my right; and light on my left; and place light behind me; and make the light greater for me. Then he slept until he started to snore; then Bilal came and woke him up for the prayer. The Chapter on Prostration Of Forgetfulness in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The supplication when prostrating in Sunan AlNasai

MuwataMalik-017-001-35169Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard the people of knowledge say that when a man hit game and something else might have contributed to death; like water or an untrained dog; that game was not to be eaten unless it was beyond doubt that it was the arrow of the hunter that had killed it by reaching a vital organ; so that it did not have any life after that. Yahya said that he heard Malik say that there was no harm in eating game when you did not see it die if you found the mark of your dog on it or your arrow in it as long as it had not remained overnight. If it had remained overnight; then it was disapproved of to eat it.The Chapter on Games And Hunting And Hitting Game With Sharp Iron in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hudud in Muwata Malik
