SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5554Narrated Nafi: That Ubaidullah Bin Abdullah and Salim Bin Abdullah informed him that they told Ibn Umar when Ibn AlZubair was attacked by the army; saying There is no harm for you if you did not perform Hajj this year. We are afraid that you may be prevented from reaching the Kaba. Ibn Umar said We set out with Allah Messenger ﷺ and the non-believers of Quraish prevented us from reaching the Kaba; and so the Prophet ﷺ slaughtered his Hadi and got his head shaved. Ibn Umar added; I make you witnesses that I have made Umra obligatory for me. And; Allah willing; I will go and then if the way to Kaba is clear; I will perform the Tawaf; but if I am prevented from going to the Kaba then I will do the same as the Prophet ﷺ did while I was in his company. Ibn Umar then assumed Ihram for Umra from Dhu AlHulaifa and proceeded for a while and said; The conditions of Umra and Hajj are similar and I make you witnesses that I have made Umra and Hajj obligatory for myself. So; he did not finish the Ihram till the Day Of AlNahr slaughtering came; and he slaughtered his Hadi. He used to say; I will not finish the Ihram till I perform the Tawaf; one Tawaf on the day of entering Mecca i.e. of Safa and Marwa for both Umra and Hajj. The Chapter on Menustration In Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If one is prevented from Umra in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-18387Abu Huraira reported: One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appeared before the public that a man came to him and said: Prophet of Allah; tell me what is Iman. Upon this he the Holy Prophet replied: That you affirm your faith in Allah; His angels; His Books; His meeting; His Messengers and that you affirm your faith in the Resurrection hereafter. He again said: Messenger of Allah; tell me what does AlIslam signify. He the Holy Prophet replied: AlIslam signifies that you worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him and you establish obligatory prayer and you pay the obligatory poor-rate Zakat and you observe the fast of Ramadan. He the inquirer again said: Messenger of Allah; what does AlIhsan imply? He the Holy Prophet replied: That you worship Allah as if you are seeing Him; and in case you fail to see Him; then observe prayer with this idea in your mind that at least He is seeing you. He the inquirer again said: Messenger of Allah; when would there be the hour of Doom ? He the Holy Prophet replied: The one who is asked about it is no better informed than the inquirer. I; however; narrate some of its signs and these are : when the slave-girl will give birth to he master; when the naked; barefooted would become the chiefs of the people - these are some of the signs of Doom. Moreover when the shepherds of the black camels would exult themselves in buildings; this is one of the signs of Doom. Doom is one of the five happenings wrapped in the unseen which no one knows but Allah. Then he the Messenger of Allah recited the verse : Verily Allah! with Him alone is the knowledge of the hour and He it is Who sends down the rain and knows that which is in the wombs and no person knows whatsoever he shall earn tomorrow; and a person knows not in whatsoever land he shall die. Verily Allah is Knowing; Aware. He the narrator; Abu Huraira said: Then the person turned back and went away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Bring that man back to me. They the Companions of the Prophet present there went to bring him back; but they saw nothing there. Upon this the Messenger of Allah remarked: he was Gabriel; who came to teach the people their religion. The Chapter on Hour And Divine Decree in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 1 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-18392It is reported on the authority of Anas Bin Malik that he said: We were forbidden that we should ask anything without the genuine need from the Holy Prophet. It; therefore; pleased us that an intelligent person from the dwellers of the desert should come and asked him the Holy Prophet and we should listen to it. A man from the dwellers of the desert came to the Holy Prophet and said: Muhammad; your messenger came to us and told us your assertion that verily Allah had sent you as a prophet. He the Holy Prophet remarked: He told the truth. He the bedouin said: Who created the heaven? He the Holy Prophet replied: Allah. He the bedouin again said: Who created the earth? He the Holy Prophet replied: Allah. He the bedouin again said: Who raised these mountains and who created in them whatever is created there? He the Holy Prophet replied: Allah. Upon this he the bedouin remarked: By Him Who created the heaven and created the earth and raised mountains thereupon; has Allah in fact sent you? He the Holy Prophet said: Yes. He the bedouin said: Your messenger also told us that five prayers had been made obligatory for us during the day and the night. He the Holy Prophet remarked: He told you the truth. He the bedouin said: By Him Who sent you; is it Allah Who ordered you about this i. e. prayers ? He the Holy Prophet said: Yes. He the bedouin said: Your messenger told us that Zakat had been made obligatory in our riches. He the Holy Prophet said. He has told the truth. He the bedouin said: By Him Who sent you as a prophet ; is it Allah Who ordered you about it Zakat ? He the Holy Prophet said: Yes. He the bedouin said: Your messenger told us that it had been made obligatory for us to fast every year during the month of Ramadan. He the Holy Prophet said: He has told the truth. He the bedouin said: By Him Who sent you as a prophet ; is it Allah Who ordered you about it the fasts of Ramadan ? He the Holy Prophet said: Yes. He the bedouin said: Your messenger also told us that pilgrimage Hajj to the House of Kabah had been made obligatory for him who is able to undertake the journey to it. He the Holy Prophet said: Yes. The narrator said that he the bedouin set off at the conclusion of this answer; but at the time of his departure remarked: By Him Who sent you with the Truth; I would neither make any addition to them nor would I diminish anything out of them. Upon this the Prophet remarked: If he were true to what he said he must enter Paradise. The Chapter on Journeys And Travel And Bedouins in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 3 in Sahih Muslim

This Sahifa contains problems pertaining to the ages of the camels and the recompense of the injuries; and it also records the words of the Prophet ﷺ : Medina is a sacred territory from Ayr to Thaur it is most probably Uhud. He who innovates an act or practice or gives protection to an innovator; there is a curse of Allah and that of His angels and that of the whole humanity upon him. Allah will not accdpt from him as a recompense any obligatory act or supererogatory act; and the responsibility of the Muslims is a joint responsibility; even the lowest in rank can undertake the responsibility on behalf of others ; and he who claims anyone else as his father besides his own father or makes one his ally other than the one who freed him ; there is a curse of Allah. that of His angels and that of the wholemankind upon him. SahihMuslim-017-001-22658Abu Mousa reported: There cropped up a difference of opinion between a group of Muhajirs Emigrants and a group of Ansar Helpers and the point of dispute was that the Ansar said: The bath because of sexual intercourse becomes obligatory only-when the semen spurts out or ejaculates. But the Muhajirs said: When a man has sexual intercourse with the woman ; a bath becomes obligatory no matter whether or not there is seminal emission or ejaculation. Abu Mousa said: Well; I satisfy you on this issue. He Abu Mousa; the narrator said: I got up and went to Aisha and sought her permission and it was granted; and I said to her: 0 Mother; or Mother of the Faithful; I want to ask you about a matter on which I feel shy. She said: Dont feel shy of asking me about a thing which you can ask your mother; who gave you birth; for I am too your mother. Upon this I said: What makes a bath obligatory for a person? He the Holy Prophet kept quiet; and he repeated these words thrice; whereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: If I were to say Yes; it would become obligatory for you to perform it every year and you would not be able to do it. Then he said: Leave me with what I have left to you; for those who were before you were desroyed because of excessive questioning; and their opposition to their apostles. SahihMuslim-017-001-23239Ibrahim AlTaimi reported on the authority of his father: Ali Bin Abi Talib Allah be pleased with him addressed us and said: He who thought that we have besides the Holy Quran anything else that we recite; he told a lie. And this document which is hanging by the sheath of the sword contains but the ages of the camels; and the nature of the wounds. He Hadrat Ali reported Allah Apostle ﷺ as saying: Medina is sacred from Air to Thaur; So if anyone makes an innovation or accommodates an innovator; the curse of Allah; the angels; and all persons will fall upon him; and Allah will not accept any obligatory or supererogatory act as recompense from them. And the protection granted by the Muslims is one and must be respected by the humblest of them. If anyone makes a false claim to paternity; or being a client of other than his own masters; there is upon him the curse of Allah; the angels; and all the people. Allah will not accept from him any recompense in the form of obligatory acts or supererogatory acts. The hadith transmitted on the authority of Abu Bakr and Zabair ends with these words : The humblest among them should respect it; and what follows after it is not mentioned there; and in the hadith transmitted by them these words are not found: The document was hanging on the sheath of his sword. The Chapter on Angeles And Good Deeds And Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 85 in Sahih Muslim

People followed him and came to pray with him. Then they again came one night and waited for him ; but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed in coming out to them. And when he did not come out; they cried aloud and threw pebbles at the door. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out in anger and said to them: By what you have been constantly doing; I was inclined to think that it prayer might not become obligatory for you. He was praying a very short prayer as if it were the prayer of a traveller or near it. When he gave a greeting; my father said: May Allah have mercy on you! Tell me about this prayer: Is it obligatory or supererogatory? He said: It is obligatory; it is the prayer performed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I did not make a mistake except in one thing that I forgot. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: Do not impose austerities on yourselves so that austerities will be imposed on you; for people have imposed austerities on themselves and Allah imposed austerities on them. Their survivors are to be found in cells and monasteries. Then he quoted: Monasticism; they invented it; we did not prescribe it for them. Next day he went out in the morning and said: will you not go out for a ride; so that you may see something and take a lesson from it? He said: Yes. Then all of them rode away and reached a land whose inhabitants had perished; passed away and died. The roofs of the town had fallen in. He asked: Do you know this land? I said: Who acquainted me with it and its inhabitants? Anas said: This is the land of the people whom oppression and envy destroyed. MuwataMalik-017-001-35962Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya Ibn Said heard Ata Ibn Abi Rabah mentioning that the camel-herders were allowed to throw the stones at night; and saying that this was in the early period of Islam. Malik said; The explanation of the hadith where the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; allowed the camel-herders to delay the stoning of the jamras is; in our view; and Allah knows best; that they threw stones on the day of sacrifice; and then threw again two days later; which was the first possible day for leaving; and this throwing was for the day which had passed. They then threw again for the day itself; because it is only possible for someone to make up for something which is obligatory for him; and when something obligatory passes someone by without him doing it he must necessarily make it up afterwards and not beforehand. So in the case of the camel-herders ; if it seemed appropriate for them to leave that day; they would have done all that they were supposed to do; and if they were to stay until the following day; they would throw stones with everybody else on the second and last day for leaving; and then leave. The Chapter on Special Days And Forbidden Deeds in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Fasting in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35982Yahya related to me from Malik that Ata Ibn Abdullah AlKhurasani said that an old man from Suq AlBuram in Kufa had related to him that Kaab Ibn Ujra said; The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; came to me while I was blowing under a cooking pot belonging to my companions and my head and beard were full of lice. He took my forehead and said; Shave your hair and fast three days or feed six poor people. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; was aware that I did not have anything with me to sacrifice. Malik said; concerning paying compensation fidya for the relief of physical discomfort; The custom concerning it is that no one pays compensation until he has done something which makes it obligatory to pay compensation just as making amends kaffara is only done when it has become obligatory for the one who owes it. The person can pay the compensation wherever he wishes; regardless of whether he has to sacrifice an animal or fast or give sadaqa - in Makka or in any other town. Malik said; It is not correct for a person in ihram to pluck out any of his hair or to shave it or cut it until he has left ihram; unless he is suffering from an ailment of the head; in which case he owes the compensation Allah the Exalted has ordered. It is not correct for a person in ihram to cut his nails; or to kill his lice; or to remove them from his head or from his skin or his garment to the ground. If a person in ihram removes lice from his skin or his garment; he must give away the quantity of food that he can scoop up with both hands. Malik said;Anyone who; while in ihram; plucks out hairs from his nose or armpit or rubs his body with a depilatory agent or shaves the hair from around a head wound out of necessity or shaves his neck for the place of the cupping glasses; regardless of whether it is in forgetfulness or in ignorance; owes compensation in all these instances; and he must not shave the place of the cupping glasses.
