SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6074Narrated Ubada Bin AlSamit: who took part in the battle of Badr and was a Naqib a person heading a group of six persons ; on the night of AlAqaba pledge: Allah Apostle said while a group of his companions were around him; Swear allegiance to me for: 1. Not to join anything in worship along with Allah. 2. Not to steal. 3. Not to commit illegal sexual intercourse. 4. Not to kill your children. 5. Not to accuse an innocent person to spread such an accusation among people. 6. Not to be disobedient when ordered to do good deed. The Prophet ﷺ added: Whoever among you fulfills his pledge will be rewarded by Allah. And whoever indulges in any one of them except the ascription of partners to Allah and gets the punishment in this world; that punishment will be an expiation for that sin. And if one indulges in any of them; and Allah conceals his sin; it is up to Him to forgive or punish him in the Hereafter. Ubada Bin AlSamit added: So we swore allegiance for these. points to Allah ApostleThe Chapter on Oaths And Pledges And The Battle Of Badr in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Belief in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-18337Numan Bin Bashir Allah be pleased with him reported: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ n as having said this and Numan pointed towards his ears with his fingers : What is lawful is evident and what is unlawful is evident; and in between them are the things doubtful which many people do not know. So he who guards against doubtful things keeps his religion and honour blameless; and he who indulges in doubtful things indulges in fact in unlawful things; just as a shepherd who pastures his animals round a preserve will soon pasture them in it. Beware; every king has a preserve; and the things God his declaced unlawful are His preserves. Beware; in the body there is a piece of flesh; if it is sound; the whole body is sound and if it is corrupt the whole body is corrupt; and hearken it is the heart. The Chapter on Communication And Answers in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 20 in Sahih Muslim
