Hadith PageArabic TextEnglish TranslationBook and Chapter
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6330Narrated Urwa the son of AlZubair : AlZubair had three scars caused by the sword; one of which was over his shoulder and I used to insert my fingers in it. He received two of those wounds on the day of Badr and one on the day of AlYarmuk. When Abdullah Bin AlZubair was killed; Abd AlMalik Bin Marwan said to me; O Urwa; do you recognize the sword of AlZubair? I said; Yes. He said; What marks does it have? I replied; It has a dent in its sharp edge which was caused in it on the day of Badr. Abd AlMalik said; You are right! i.e. their swords have dents because of clashing with the regiments of the enemies Then Abd AlMalik returned that sword to me i.e. Urwa. Hisham; Urwa son said; We estimated the price of the sword as three-thousand Dinars and after that it was taken by one of us i.e. the inheritors and I wish I could have had it.The Chapter on Day Of Earth And Wealth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The killing of Abu Jahl in Sahih AlBukhari

MuwataMalik-017-001-35988Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibrahim Ibn Abi Abla from Talha Ibn Ubaydullah Ibn Kariyz that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Shaytan is not considered more abased or more cast out or more contemptible or more angry on any day than on the Day of Arafa. That is only because he sees the descent of the Mercy and Allah disregard for great wrong actions. That is except from what he was shown on the Day of Badr. Someone said; What was he shown on the Day of Badr; Messenger of Allah? He said; Didnt he see Jibril arranging the ranks of the angels? The Chapter on Companions in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Fasting in Muwata Malik
