SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1343Narrated Sufyan: I said to Amr; O Abu Muhammad! Did you hear Jabir Bin Abdullah saying; A man carrying arrows passed through the Masjid and Allah Messenger ﷺ said to him; Hold the arrows by their heads! Amr replied; Yes.The Chapter on Dress And Shields in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whosoever takes up arms against us is not from us in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2259Narrated Hammad from Amr from Jabir: The Prophet ﷺ said; Some people will come out of the Fire through intercession looking like The Thaarir. I asked Amr; What is the Thaarir? He said; Ad DaghAbis; and at that time he was toothless. Hammad added: I said to Amr Bin Dinar; O Abu Muhammad! Did you hear Jabir Bin Abdullah saying; I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: Some people will come out of the Fire through intercession? He said; Yes.The Chapter on Admittance To Hell Fire in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The description of Paradise and the Fire in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5069Narrated Amr: I said to Tawus; I wish you would give up Mukhabara Sharecropping ; for the people say that the Prophet forbade it. On that Tawus replied; O Amr! I give the land to sharecroppers and help them. No doubt; the most learned man; namely Ibn Abbas told me that the Prophet ﷺ had not forbidden it but said; It is more beneficial for one to give his land free to one brother than to charge him a fixed rental. The Chapter on Dress And Muhrim in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Agriculture in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5518Narrated Saeed Bin Abu Saeed AlMaqburi: Abu Shuraih; AlAdawi said that he had said to Amr Bin Saeed when he was sending the troops to Mecca to fight Abdullah Bin AlZubair ; O Chief! Allow me to tell you what Allah Messenger ﷺ said on the day following the Conquest of Mecca. My ears heard that and my heart understood it thoroughly and I saw with my own eyes the Prophet ﷺ when he; after Glorifying and Praising Allah; started saying; Allah; not the people; made Mecca a sanctuary; so anybody who has belief in Allah and the Last Day should neither shed blood in it; nor should he cut down its trees. If anybody tells argues that fighting in it is permissible on the basis that Allah Messenger ﷺ did fight in Mecca; say to him; Allah allowed His Apostle and did not allow you. Allah allowed me only for a few hours on that day of the conquest and today its sanctity is valid as it was before. So; those who are present should inform those who are absent concerning this fact. Abu Shuraih was asked; What did Amr reply? He said; Amr said O Abu Shuraih! I know better than you in this respect Mecca does not give protection to a sinner; a murderer or a thief. The Chapter on Makkah And Praise Allah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on It is not permissible to cut the trees of the Haram in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6160Narrated Said: Abu Shuraih said; When Amr Bin Saeed was sending the troops to Mecca to fight Abdullah Bin AlZubair I said to him; O chief! Allow me to tell you what the Prophet ﷺ said on the day following the conquests of Mecca. My ears heard and my heart comprehended; and I saw him with my own eyes; when he said it. He glorified and praised Allah and then said; Allah and not the people has made Mecca a sanctuary. So anybody who has belief in Allah and the Last Day i.e. a Muslim should neither shed blood in it nor cut down its trees. If anybody argues that fighting is allowed in Mecca as Allah Messenger ﷺ did fight in Mecca ; tell him that Allah gave permission to His Apostle; but He did not give it to you. The Prophet ﷺ added: Allah allowed me only for a few hours on that day of the conquest and today now its sanctity is the same valid as it was before. So it is incumbent upon those who are present to convey it this information to those who are absent. Abu Shuraih was asked; What did Amr reply? He said Amr said; O Abu Shuraih! I know better than you in this respect. Mecca does not give protection to one who disobeys Allah or runs after committing murder; or theft and takes refuge in Mecca. The Chapter on Makkah And Praise Allah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on It is incumbent on those who are present in a religious meeting or conference to convey the knowledge to those who are absent in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6194Narrated Kuraib: Ibn Abbas said; The Prophet ﷺ slept till he snored and then prayed or probably lay till his breath sounds were heard and then got up and prayed. Ibn Abbas added: I stayed overnight in the house of my aunt; Maimuna; the Prophet ﷺ slept for a part of the night; See Fath AlBari page 249; Vol. 1 ; and late in the night; he got up and performed ablution from a hanging water skin; a light perfect ablution and stood up for the prayer. I; too; performed a similar ablution; then I went and stood on his left. He drew me to his right and prayed as much as Allah wished; and again lay and slept till his breath sounds were heard. Later on the Muadh-dhin call maker for the prayer came to him and informed him that it was time for Prayer. The Prophet ﷺ went with him for the prayer without performing a new ablution. Sufyan said to Amr that some people said; The eyes of Allah Messenger ﷺ sleep but his heart does not sleep. Amr replied; I heard Ubaid Bin Umar saying that the dreams of Prophets were Divine Inspiration; and then he recited the verse: I Abraham see in a dream; O my son that I offer you in sacrifice to Allah. 37.102 See Hadith No. 183The Chapter on Standing For Prayers After Sleeping in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To perform a light ablution in Sahih AlBukhari

Abdullah Bin Zaid asked for earthenware pot containing water and in front of them performed ablution like that of the Prophet ﷺ. He poured water from the pot over his hand and washed his hands thrice and then he put his hands in the pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out with three handfuls of water. Again he put his hand in the water and washed his face thrice and washed his forearms up to the elbows twice; and then put his hands in the water and then passed them over his head by bringing them to the front and then to the rear of the head once; and then he washed his feet up to the ankles. The Chapter on Ablution Hand Head Foot And Forearm in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The washing of feet unto the ankles in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7202Narrated Ali: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent me along with AlZubair and AlMiqdad and said; Proceed till you reach a place called Raudat-Khakh where there is a lady travelling in a howda on a camel. She has a letter. Take the letter from her. So we set out; and our horses ran at full pace till we reached Raudat Khakh; and behold; we saw the lady and said to her ; Take out the letter! She said; I have no letter with me. We said; Either you take out the letter or we will strip you of your clothes. So she took the letter out of her hair braid. We brought the letter to the Prophet ﷺ and behold; it was addressed by Hatib Bin Abi Baltaa to some pagans at Mecca; informing them of some of the affairs of the Prophet. The Prophet ﷺ said; What is this; O Hatib? Hatib replied; Do not be hasty with me; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I am an Ansari man and do not belong to them Quraish infidels while the emigrants who were with you had their relatives who used to protect their families and properties at Mecca. So; to compensate for not having blood relation with them. I intended to do them some favor so that they might protect my relatives at Mecca ; and I did not do this out of disbelief or an inclination to desert my religion. The Prophet then said to his companions ; He Hatib has told you the truth. Umar said; O Allah Apostle! Allow me to chop his head off? The Apostle said; He is one of those who witnessed fought in the Battle of Badr; and what do you know; perhaps Allah looked upon the people of Badr Badr warriors and said; Do what you want as I have forgiven you. Amr; a sub-narrator; said;: This Verse was revealed about him Hatib : O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies as friends or protectors. 60.1 Narrated Ali: Sufyan was asked whether the Verse : Take not My enemies and your enemies... was revealed in connection with Hatib. Sufyan replied; This occurs only in the narration of the people. I memorized the Hadith from Amr; not overlooking even a single letter thereof; and I do not know of anybody who remembered it by heart other than myself. The Chapter on Military Expedition And Makkah in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari

The people of the Book before were split up into seventy two sects; and this community will be split into seventy three: seventy two of them will go to Hell and one of them will go to Paradise; and it is the majority group Ibn Yahya and Amr added in their version : There will appear among my community people who will be dominated by desires like rabies which penetrates its patient; Amrs version has: penetrates its patient. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27483Ibn Abi Laila said: Prayer passed through three stages. And out people narrated to us that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said; it is to my liking that the prayer of Muslims or believers should be united i.e.; in congregation ; so much so that I intended to send people to the houses to announce the time of prayer; and I also resolved that I should order people to stand at the tops of the forts and announce the time of the prayer for Muslims; and they struck the bell or were about to strike the bell to announce the time for prayer. Then came a person from among the Ansar who said: Messenger of Allah; when I returned from you; as I saw your anxiety. I saw in sleep a person with two green clothes on him; he stood on the Masjid and called people to prayer. He then sat down for a short while and stood up and pronounced in a like manner; except that he added: The time for prayer has come. If the people did not call me a liar ; and according to the version of Ibn AlMuthanna; if you did not call me a liar. I would say that I was awake; I was awake; I was not asleep. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: According to the version of Ibn AlMuthanna; Allah has shown you a good dream. But the version of Amr does not have the words: Allah has shown you a good dream. Then ask Bilal to pronounce the ADHAN to call to the prayer. Umar in the meantime said: I also had a dream like the one he had. But as he informed earlier. I was ashamed to inform. Our people have narrated to us: when a person came to the Masjid during the prayer in congregation ; he would ask about the RAKAHS of prayer ; and he would be informed about the number of RAKAHS already performed. They would stand in prayer along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : some in standing position; others bowing; some sitting and some praying along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ Ibn AlMuthanna reported from Amr from Hussain Bin Abi Laila; saying ; Until Muadh came. Shubah said ; I heard it from Hussain who said : I shall follow the position in the prayer in which I find him the prophet... you should do in a similar way.Abu Dawud said: I then turned to the tradition reported by Amr Bin Marzuq he said; then Maadh came and they the people hinted at him. Shubah said; I heard it from hussain who said: Muadh then said; I shall follow the position in the prayer when I join it in which I find him the prophet. He then said: Muadh has prayer when I join it in which I find him the prophet. He then said: MUadh has introduced for you a SUNNAH a model behaviour ; so you should do in a like manner. He said; our people have narrated to us; when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Madina; he commanded them the people to keep fast for three days. Thereafter the Quranic verses with regard to the fasts during Ramadan were revealed. But they were people who were not accustomed to keep fast ; hence the keeping of the fasts was hard for them; so those who could not keep fast would feed an indigent; then the month. Malik said; Said Ibn AlMusayab; Sulayman Ibn Yasar; Abu Bakr Ibn Muhammad Ibn Amr Ibn Hazm; and Ibn Shihab forbade that a man sell wheat for gold and then buy dates with that gold before he had received the gold from the transaction in which he sold the wheat. There is no harm for someone to buy dates on delayed terms; on the strength of the gold for which he sold the wheat; from someone other than the person to whom he sold the wheat before taking possession of the gold; and to refer the one from whom he bought the dates to his debtor who bought the wheat; for the gold he is owed for the dates. MuwataMalik-017-001-36160Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham Ibn Urwa from his father fromYahyaibn Abdulrahman Ibn Ha ib that he had set off for Mumra with Umar Ibn AlKhattab in a party of riders; among whom was Amr Ibn AlAs. Umar Ibn AlKhattab dismounted for a rest late at night on a certain road near a certain oasis. Umar had a wet dream when it was almost dawn and there was no water among the riding party. He rode until he came to some water and then he began to wash off what he saw of the semen until it had gone. Amr Ibn AlAs said to him; It is morning and there are clothes with us; so allow your garment to be washed. Umar Ibn AlKhattab said to him; I am surprised at you; Amr Ibn AlAs! Even if you could find clothes; would everybody be able to find them? By Allah; if I were to do it; it would become a sunna. No; I wash what I see; and I sprinkle with water what I do not see. Malik spoke about a man who found traces of a wet dream on his clothes and did not know when it had occurred and did not remember anything he had seen in his sleep. He said; Let the intention of his ghusl be from the time when he last slept; and if he has prayed since that last sleep he should repeat it. This is because often a man has a wet dream and sees nothing; and often he sees something but does not have an emission. But; if he finds liquid on his garment he must do ghusl. This is because Umar repeated what he had prayed after the time he had last slept and not what was before it.The Chapter on Ablution After Dreams Menstruation And Sexual Intercourse in HodHood Indexing, The Book of The Quran in Muwata Malik
