Abu Humaid said: I am more informed than any of you regarding the prayer offered by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he mentioned a part of it; and said: He then bowed and placed his hands upon his knees as if he caught hold of them; and bent them; keeping his arms away from his sides. He them prostrated himself and placed his nose and forehead on the ground ; and kept his arms away from his side; and placed his palms on the ground opposite his shoulders; he then raised his head that every bone returned to its proper place; he then prostrated twice until he finished this prostrations. Then he repeated the same and offered the second rakah; he uttered the takbir in the same manner; and sat up after two rakahs. When he was about to stand up; he stood up after saying the takbir. Then he offered the last two rakahs.   Abd AlAziz Bin Abd AlMalik Bin Abu Mahdhurah narrated that Abdullah Bin Muhairiz - who was an orphan under the care of Abu Mahdhurah until he prepared him to go to AlSham - informed him: he said: I said to Abu Mahdhurah: I am going to AlSham and I am afraid that I will be asked about how you say the Adhan.He told me that Abu Mahdhurah said to him; I went out with a group of people and we were somewhere on the road to Hunain when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was coming back from Hunain. The Messenger of Allah met us somewhere on the road and the Muadhdhin of the Messenger of Allah called the Adhan for prayer in the presence of the Messenger of Allah. We heard the voice of the Muadhdhin and we were careless about it the Adhan ; so we started yelling; immitating and mocking it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard us; so he sent some people who brought us to stand infront of him. He said; Who is the one whose voice I heard so loud? The people all pointed to me; and they were telling the truth. He sent them all away; but kept me there and said to me: Stand up and call the Adhan for the Prayer. I stood up and the Messenger of Allah taught me the Adhan himself. Rabia Bin Harith turned to him and said: By Allah; you are not doing so but out of jealousy that you nurse against us By Allah; you became the son-in-law of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ but we felt no jealousy against you for this great privilege of yours. Ali then said: Send them if you like. They set out and Ali lay on the bed. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered the noon prayer. we went ahead of him to his apartment and stood near it till he came out. He took hold of our ears out of love and affection and then said: Give out what you have kept in your hearts.   Abd AlRabman Bin Abu Bakr reported that the people of Suffa were very poor. Once the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his Companions : He who amongst you has food for two persons should take three guests with him. and he who has with him food for four persons should take five or six guests with him for entertaining them. It was in accordance with these instructions of the Holy Prophet that Abu Bakr brought three persons; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ brought ten persons as guests to their respective houses. Abu Bakr had brought three persons he himself; and myself ; my father and my mother along with therm. He the narrator said: I do not know whether he also said: My wife and one servant who was common between our house and that of Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr had had his evening meal with Allah Apostle ﷺ. He stayed here until night prayer had been offered. He then came back to the house of Allah Apostle and stayed there until Allah Messenger ﷺ felt drowsy and Abu Bakr then came back to his own house when a considerable part of the night had been over; as Allah had desired. His wife said to him: What held you back from your guests? He said: Oh! have you not served them the evening meal by this time ? She said: It was in fact served to them. but they refused to eat until you came. He Abdulrahman said: I slunk away and bid myself. He Abu Bakr said: O; you stupid fellow; and he reprimanded me; and said to the guests: Eat; though it may not be pleasant now. He said: By Allah. I will never eat it He Abdulrahman said: By Allah. we did not take a morsel when from beneath that there appeared more until they had eaten to their fill; and lo! it was more than what it was before. Abu Bakr saw that and found that it was so or more than that. He said to his wife: Sister of Band Firis; what is th-is? She said: By the coolness of my eyes. it is in excess by three times over the previous one. Then Abu Bakr ate saying: That was from the Satan viz. his vow for not eating the food. He then took a morsel out of that and then took it the rest to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; and it was kept there until morning; and during those days there was a covenant between us and some other people; and the period of covenant was over; and we had appointed twelve officials with every person amongst them. It is Allah only Who knows as to how many people were there with each of them. He sent this food to them and all of them ate out of it.

You may not be misled by one whose beauty has fascinated her; and the love of Allah Messenger ﷺ for her. I Umar then visited Umm Salamah because of my relationship with her and I talked to her. Umm Salamah said to me: Umar Bin AlKhattab; how strange is it that you meddle with every matter so much so that you are anxious to interfere between Allah Messenger ﷺ and his wives; and this perturbed me so much that I refrained from saying what I had to say; so I came out of her apartment; and I had a friend from the Anar. He was lying on the mat and there was nothing between him and that mat ; and under his head there was a pillow made of leather and it was stuffed with plam fibres and at his feet were lying a heap of sant tree acacia niloctica; meant for dyeing and near his head there was hanging a hide. I said: Messenger of Allah; the Khusrau and the Ceasars spendd their lives in the midst of luxuries ; whereas you being Allah Messenger are leading your life in this poverty. Some of them said: You Umar have set forth for a task; and; therefore; we would not advise you to go back; whereas some of them said: You have along with you the remnants of the sacred galaxy of men and the blessed Companions of Allah Messenger ﷺ ; so we would not advise you to go forth towards this calamity with such eminent persons and thus expose them deliberately to a danger. He Hadrat Umar said: You can now go away. He said: Call to me the Ansar. So I called them to him; and he consulted them; and they trod the same path as was trodden by the Muhajirin; and they differed in their opinions as they had differed. He said: Now; you can go. He again said: Call to me the old persons of the Quraish who had migrated before the Victory that is the Victory of Mecca ; so I called them and Hadrat Umar consulted them and not even two persons differed from the opinion held by the earlier delegates. They said: Our opinion is that you better go back along with the people and do not make them go to this scourge; So Umar made announcement to the people: In the morning I would be on the back of my side. So they set forth in the morning ; whereupon Abu Ubaida Bin Jarrah said: Are you going to run away from the Divine Decree? Thereupon Umar said: Had it been someone else to say this besides you! Umar in fact did not approve of his opposing this decision and he said: Yes; we are running from the Divine Decree to the Divine Decree. You should think if there had been camels for you and you happened to get down in a valley having two sides; one of them covered with verdure and the other being barren; would you not be doing according to the Divine Decree if you graze them in verdure? And in case you graze them in the barren land even then you would be grazing them according to the Divine Decree. There happened to come Abdulrahman Bin Auf and he had been absent in connection with some of his needs. He said: I have with me a knowledge of it; that I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: If you hear of its presence the presence of plague in a land; dont enter it; but if it spreads in the land where you are; dont fly from it. He planted the blade of the sword in the ground directing its sharp end towards his chest between his two breasts. Then he leaned on the sword and killed himself. The other man came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said; I testify that you are Allah Messenger ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ asked; What has happened? He replied; It is about the man whom you had described as one of the people of the Hell Fire. The people were greatly surprised at what you said; and I said; I will find out his reality for you. So; I came out seeking him. He got severely wounded; and hastened to die by slanting the blade of his sword in the ground directing its sharp end towards his chest between his two breasts. I milked the sheep for them and took the milk to them; but I found them sleeping. I disliked to provide my family with the milk before them. I waited for them and the bowl of milk was in my hand and I kept on waiting for them to get up till the day dawned. Then they got up and drank the milk. O Allah! If I did that for Your Sake only; please relieve us from our critical situation caused by this rock. So; the rock shifted a little but they could not get out. The Prophet ﷺ added; The second man said; O Allah! I had a cousin who was the dearest of all people to me and I wanted to have sexual relations with her but she refused. Later she had a hard time in a famine year and she came to me and I gave her one-hundred-and-twenty Dinars on the condition that she would not resist my desire; and she agreed. When I was about to fulfill my desire; she said: It is illegal for you to outrage my chastity except by legitimate marriage. He arrived but he had no camel with him. He asked: Where is your camel? He replied: I lost it last night. Abu Bakr said: There was only one camel; even that you have lost. He then began to beat him while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was smiling and saying: Look at this man who is in the sacred state putting on ihram ; what is he doing? Ibn Abu Rizmah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke nothing except the words: Look at this man who is in the sacred state wearing ihram ; what is he doing? He was smiling when he uttered these words.

Then Abu Bakr looked behind and saw a horse-rider pursuing them. He said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! This is a horse-rider pursuing us. The Prophet ﷺ looked behind and said; O Allah! Cause him to fall down. So the horse threw him down and got up neighing. After that the rider; Suraqa said; O Allah Prophet! Order me whatever you want. The Prophet said; Stay where you are and do not allow anybody to reach us. So; in the first part of the day Suraqa was an enemy of Allah Prophet and in the last part of it; he was a protector. Then Allah Apostle alighted by the side of the AlHarra and sent a message to the Ansar; and they came to Allah Prophet and Abu Bakr; and having greeted them; they said; Ride your camels safe and obeyed. Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abu Bakr rode and the Ansar; carrying their arms; surrounded them. The news that Allah Prophet had come circulated in Medina. The people came out and were eagerly looking and saying Allah Prophet has come! Allah Prophet has come! So the Prophet ﷺ went on till he alighted near the house of Abu Ayoub. While the Prophet ﷺ was speaking with the family members of Abu Ayoub ; Abdullah Bin Salam heard the news of his arrival while he himself was picking the dates for his family from his family garden. He hurried to the Prophet ﷺ carrying the dates which he had collected for his family from the garden. He listened to Allah Prophet and then went home. Then Allah Prophet said; Which is the nearest of the houses of our kith and kin? Abu Ayoub replied; Mine; O Allah Prophet! This is my house and this is my gate. The Prophet ﷺ said; Go and prepare a place for our midday rest. Abu Ayoub said; Get up both of you with Allah Blessings. So when Allah Prophet went into the house; Abdullah Bin Salam came and said I testify that you i.e. Muhammad are Apostle of Allah and that you have come with the Truth. The Jews know well that I am their chief and the son of their chief and the most learned amongst them and the son of the most learned amongst them. So send for them i.e. Jews and ask them about me before they know that I have embraced Islam; for if they know that they will say about me things which are not correct. So Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for them; and they came and entered. Allah Messenger ﷺ said to them; O the group of Jews! Woe to you: be afraid of Allah. By Allah except Whom none has the right to be worshipped; you people know for certain; that I am Apostle of Allah and that I have come to you with the Truth; so embrace Islam. The Jews replied; We do not know this. So they said this to the Prophet and he repeated it thrice. Then he said; What sort of a man is Abdullah Bin Salam amongst you? They said; He is our chief and the son of our chief and the most learned man; and the son of the most learned amongst us. He said; What would you think if he should embrace Islam? They said; Allah forbid! He can not embrace Islam. He said; What would you think if he should embrace Islam? They said; Allah forbid! He can not embrace Islam. He said; What would you think if he should embrace Islam? They said; Allah forbid! He can not embrace Islam. He said; O Ibn Salam! Come out to them. He came out and said; O the group of Jews! Be afraid of Allah except Whom none has the right to be worshipped. You know for certain that he is Apostle of Allah and that he has brought a True Religion! They said; You tell a lie.
