- It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah used to pray two Rakahs before Zuhr and two afterward and he used to pray two Rakahs after Maghrib in his house and two Rakahs after Isha and he did not pray after Jumuah until he departed from the Masjid then he would pray two Rakahs at home
- He said When the sun reached the same height in the east as it reaches in the west at thetime of Asr he would pray two rakahs and when the sun reached the same height in theeast as it reaches in the west at thetime for Zuhr he would pray four Rakahs
