SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4960		Narrated Sulaiman Bin Bilal from Yahya: Yazid Maula AlMunbaith heard Zaid Bin Khalid AlJuham saying; The Prophet ﷺ was asked about Luqata. He said; Remember the description of its container and the string it is tied with; and announce it publicly for one year. Yazid added; If nobody claims then the person who has found it can spend it; and it is regarded as a trust entrusted to him. Yahya said; I do not know whether the last sentences were said by the Prophet ﷺ or by Yazid. Zaid further said; The Prophet ﷺ was asked; What about a lost sheep? The Prophet ﷺ said; Take it; for it is for you or for your brother i.e. its owner or for the wolf. Yazid added that it should also be announced publicly. The man then asked the Prophet ﷺ about a lost camel. The Prophet ﷺ said; Leave it; as it has its feet; water container reservoir ; and it will reach a place of water and eat trees till its owner finds it. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5723		Narrated Yazid Bin Ruman from Urwa: Aisha said that the Prophet ﷺ said to her; O Aisha! Were your nation not close to the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance; I would have had the Kaba demolished and would have included in it the portion which had been left; and would have made it at a level with the ground and would have made two doors for it; one towards the east and the other towards the west; and then by doing this it would have been built on the foundations laid by Abraham. That was what urged Ibn AlZubair to demolish the Kaba. Jazz said; I saw Ibn AlZubair when he demolished and rebuilt the Kaba and included in it a portion of AlHijr the unroofed portion of Kaba which is at present in the form of a compound towards the northwest of the Kaba. I saw the original foundations of Abraham which were of stones resembling the humps of camels. So Jarir asked Yazid; Where was the place of those stones? Jazz said; I will just now show it to you. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5924		Narrated Man Bin Yazid: My grandfather; my father and I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah Messenger ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ got me engaged and then got me married. One day I went to the Prophet ﷺ with a complaint. My father Yazid had taken some gold coins for charity and kept them with a man in the Masjid to give them to the poor But I went and took them and brought them to him my father. My father said; By Allah! I did not intend to give them to you. I took the case to Allah Messenger ﷺ. On that Allah Messenger ﷺ said; O Yazid! You will be rewarded for what you intended. O Man! Then he who professed: There is no god but Allah; would come out of the Fire; even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of a wheat grain. He would then bring out from the Fire he who professed: There is no god but Allah; even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of an atom. Ibn Minhal has made an addition of these words in his narration: Yazid said: I met Shuba and narrated to him this hadith. Shuba said: Qatada transmitted to us this hadith from Anas Bin Malik who heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with this alteration that he substituted the word Zurra grain in place of Zarra atom. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25035		Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas: Abd Yazid; the father of Rukanah and his brothers; divorced Umm Rukanah and married a woman of the tribe of Muzaynah. She went to the Prophet ﷺ and said: He is of no use to me except that he is as useful to me as a hair; and she took a hair from her head. So separate me from him. The Prophet ﷺ became furious. He called on Rukanah and his brothers. He then said to those who were sitting beside him. Do you see so-and-so who resembles Abdu Yazid in respect of so-and-so; and so-and-so who resembles him in respect of so-and-so? They replied: Yes. The Prophet ﷺ said to Abdu Yazid: Divorce her. Then he did so. He said: Take your wife; the mother of Rukanah and his brothers; back in marriage. He said: I have divorced her by three pronouncements; Messenger of Allah. He said: I know: take her back. He then recited the verse: O Prophet; when you divorce women; divorce them at their appointed periods.Abu Dawud said: The tradition narrated by Nafi Bin Ujair and Abdullah Bin Yazid Bin Rukanah from his father on the authority of his grandfather reads: Rukanah divorced his wife absolutely i.e. irrevocable divorce. The Prophet ﷺ restored her to him. This version is sounder than other versions ; for they i.e. these narrators are the children of his man; and the members of the family are more aware of his case. Rukanah divorced his wife absolutely i.e. three divorces in one pronouncement and the Prophet ﷺ made it a single divorce. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25382		Narrated Hudhayfah: Thalabah Ibn Zahdam said: We accompanied Saad Ibn AlAs at Tabaristan. He stood and said: Which of you prayed along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in time of danger? Hudhayfah said: I then he led one section in one rakah and the other section in one rakah. They did not pray the second rakah by themselves.Abu Dawud: This tradition has been transmitted by Ubaid Allah Bin Abdullah and Mujahid on the authority of Ibn Abbas from the Prophet ﷺ in like manner. This has also been narrated by Abdullah Bin Shaqiq from Abu Huraira from the Prophet ﷺ. Yazid AlFaqir and Abu Mousa also narrated this tradition from Jabir from the Prophet ﷺ. Some of the narrators said in the version narrated by Yazid AlFaqir that they completed their second rakah. This has also been narrated by Simak AlHanafi on the authority of Ibn Umar from the Prophet ﷺ something similar. Zaid Bin Thabit also narrated from the Prophet ﷺ in like manner. This version adds: The people prayed on rakah and the Prophet ﷺ prayed two rakahs. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26358		Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prostrate and sleep in prostration and produce puffing sounds during sleep. Then he would stand and pray and would not perform ablution. I said to him: you prayed but did not perform ablution though you slept in prostration. He replied: Ablution is necessary for one who sleeps while he is lying down. Uthman and Hannad added: For when he lies down; his joints are relaxed.Abu Dawud said: The statement ablution is necessary for one who sleeps while one is lying down is a munkar rejected tradition. It has been narrated only by Yazid Abu Khalid AlDalani; on the authority of Qatadah. And its earlier part has been narrated by a group of narrators from Ibn Abbas; they did not mention anything about it. He Ibn Abbas said: The Prophet ﷺ was protected during his sleep. Aisha reported: The Prophet ﷺ said: My eyes sleep; but my heart does not sleep. Shubah said: Qatadah heard from Ab AlAliyah only four traditions: the tradition about Jonah son of Matthew; the tradition reported by Ibn Umar about prayer; the tradition stating that the judges are three; and the tradition narrated by Ibn Abbas saying: This tradition has been narrated to me by reliable persons ; Umar is one of them; and the most reliable of them in my opinion is Umar. Abu Dawud said: I asked Ahmad Bin Hanbal about the tradition narrated by Yazid AlDalani. He rebuked me out of respect for him. Then he said: Yazid AlDalani does not add anything to what has been narrated by the teachers of Qatadah. He did not care of this tradition due to its weakness. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27554		Narrated Yazid Ibn Amir: I came while the Prophet ﷺ was saying the prayer. I sat down and did not pray along with them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned towards us and saw that Yazid was sitting there. He said: Did you not embrace Islam; Yazid? He replied: Why not; Messenger of Allah; I have embraced Islam. He said: What prevented you from saying prayer along with the people? He replied: I have already prayed in my house; and I thought that you had prayed in congregation. He said: When you come to pray in the Masjid and find the people praying; then you should pray along with them; though you have already prayed. This will be a supererogatory prayer for you and that will be counted as obligatory. He said; I heard the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; say; If anyone acquires a dog which he does not use as a sheepdog or for hunting; a qirat will be deducted from the reward of his good deeds each day. He was asked; Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace? He said; Yes; by the Lord of this Masjid. He went for a walk with Yazid Ibn Abi Sufyan who was the commander of one of the battalions. It is claimed that Yazid said to Abu Bakr; Will you ride or shall I get down? Abu Bakrsaid; I will not ride and you will not get down. I intend these steps of mine to be in the way of Allah. Then Abu Bakr advised Yazid; You will find a people who claim to have totally given themselves to Allah. Leave them to what they claim to have given themselves. You will find a people who have shaved the middle of their heads; strike what they have shaved with the sword. I advise you ten things: Do not kill women or children or an aged; infirm person. Do not cut down fruit-bearing trees. Do not destroy an inhabited place. Do not slaughter sheep or camels except for food. Do not burn bees and do not scatter them.
