SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6109Narrated Abu Jamra: I used to sit with Ibn Abbas and he made me sit on his sitting place. He requested me to stay with him in order that he might give me a share from his property. So I stayed with him for two months. Once he told me that when the delegation of the tribe of Abdul Qais came to the Prophet; the Prophet ﷺ asked them; Who are the people i.e. you ? Or who are the delegate? They replied; We are from the tribe of Rabia. Then the Prophet ﷺ said to them; Welcome! O people or O delegation of Abdul Qais ! Neither will you have disgrace nor will you regret. They said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! We cannot come to you except in the sacred month and there is the infidel tribe of Mudar intervening between you and us. So please order us to do something good religious deeds so that we may inform our people whom we have left behind at home ; and that we may enter Paradise by acting on them. Then they asked about drinks what is legal and what is illegal. The Prophet ﷺ ordered them to do four things and forbade them from four things. He ordered them to believe in Allah Alone and asked them; Do you know what is meant by believing in Allah Alone? They replied; Allah and His Apostle know better. Thereupon the Prophet ﷺ said; It means: 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah Messenger ﷺ. 2. To offer prayers perfectly 3. To pay the Zakat obligatory charity 4. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan. 5. And to pay AlKhumus one fifth of the booty to be given in Allah Cause. Then he forbade them four things; namely; Hantam; Dubba; Naqir Ann Muzaffat or Muqaiyar; These were the names of pots in which Alcoholic drinks were prepared The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the container of wine and he meant the wine itself. The Prophet ﷺ further said to them : Memorize them these instructions and convey them to the people whom you have left behind. The Chapter on Utensils And Drinks in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To pay AlKhumus onefifth of the war booty to be given in Allah Cause is a part of faith in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6691Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent us who were three-hundred riders under the command of Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah in order to watch the caravan of the Quraish pagans. We stayed at the seashore for half a month and were struck with such severe hunger that we ate even the Khabt i.e. the leaves of the Salam; a thorny desert tree ; and because of that; the army was known as Jaish AlKhabt. Then the sea threw out; an animal i.e. a fish called AlAnbar and we ate of that for half a month; and rubbed its fat on our bodies till our bodies returned to their original state i.e. became strong and healthy. Abu Ubaida took one of its ribs; fixed it on the ground; then he went to the tallest man of his companions to let him pass under the rib. Once Sufyan said; He took a rib from its parts and fixed it; and then took a man and camel and they passed from underneath it without touching it. Jabir added: There was a man amongst the people who slaughtered three camels and then slaughtered another three camels and then slaughtered other three camels; and then Abu Ubaida forbade him to do so. Narrated Abu Salih: Qais Bin Saad said to his father. I was present in the army and the people were struck with severe hunger. He said; You should have slaughtered camels for them. Qais said; I did slaughter camels but they were hungry again. He said; You should have slaughtered camels again. Qais said; I did slaughter camels again but the people felt hungry again. He said; You should have slaughtered camels again. Qais said; I did slaughter camels again; but the people again felt hungry. He said; You should have slaughtered camels again. Qais said; But I was forbidden by Abu Ubaida this time. The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen And Charity in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Ghazwa of the seacoast in Sahih AlBukhari

Qays said: I said: Do you not grant permission to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to enter? He said: Leave him; he will give us many greetings. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Peace and Allah mercy be upon you! Saad again responded in a lower tone. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ again said: Peace and Allah mercy be upon you! So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went away. Saad went after him and said: Messenger of Allah! I heard your greetings and responded in a lower tone so that you might give us many greetings. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned with him. Saad then offered to prepare bath-water for him; and he took a bath. He then gave him a long wrapper dyed with saffron or wars and he wrapped himself in it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then raised his hands and said: O Allah; bestow Thy blessings and mercy on the family of Saad Ibn Ubadah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then shared their meals. When he intended to return; Saad brought near him an ass which was covered with a blanket. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mounted it. Saad said: O Qays; accompany the Messenger of Allah. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-28301Narrated Aisha; Ummul Muminin: Juwayriyah; daughter of AlHarith Ibn AlMustaliq; fell to the lot of Thabit Ibn Qays Ibn Shammas; or to her cousin. She entered into an agreement to purchase her freedom. She was a very beautiful woman; most attractive to the eye. Aisha said: She then came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking him for the purchase of her freedom. When she was standing at the door; I looked at her with disapproval. I realised that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would look at her in the same way that I had looked. She said: Messenger of Allah; I am Juwayriyah; daughter of AlHarith; and something has happened to me; which is not hidden from you. I have fallen to the lot of Thabit Ibn Qays Ibn Shammas; and I have entered into an agreement to purchase of my freedom. I have come to you to seek assistance for the purchase of my freedom. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Are you inclined to that which is better? She asked: What is that; Messenger of Allah? He replied: I shall pay the price of your freedom on your behalf; and I shall marry you. She said: I shall do this. She Aisha said: The people then heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had married Juwayriyah. They released the captives in their possession and set them free; and said: They are the relatives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by marriage. We did not see any woman greater than Juwayriyah who brought blessings to her people. One hundred families of Banu AlMustaliq were set free on account of her.Abu dawud said: This evidence shows that a Muslim ruler may marry a slave woman himself. The Chapter on Financial Transaction And Charity in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Selling A Mukathib If His Contract Of Manumission Is Annulled in Sunan Abu Dawoud
